Hunger rolled through my belly. Heat coiled through my veins.

As he knotted his hands through my hair, he tilted his hips and drove his semi against my pants. “Shit.” He raked his lips away from mine. Panting, he rested his forehead against my brow. His hot breath rushed across my face.

Smiling, I bit my lower lip, savoring the taste of his mouth. “Good shit or bad shit?”

Chuckling, he smoothed his hand over the back of my hair. “Good. Definitely good.”

“So now what?” Did he want to rip my clothes off and fuck in front of the city? I’d be down for that.

“Timing sucks.” He drew me against his chest, wrapping me in his warm embrace. “I leave in three days for a month. But when I get back from promo...maybe we could go on a few dates, see how that goes. We need to take this slow, okay?”

“I don’t like slow but okay.” I toyed with the buttons on his shirt. Damn. I’d love to rip them open. “If you feel a smidgen for me what I feel for you, you’ll be counting down the days until you’re home.”

“Oh...I’m counting.”

A beaming smile spread across my face. “So, we’re doing this? You’re willing to explore what this is between us?”

“Yes. After promo. So let’s head back before you talk too much, and I change my mind.”

I zipped my lips and took his hand.

Slowly, we ambled down the hill to Cole’s house. I didn’t want the night to end. The heat from our kiss lingered between us. He occasionally adjusted his balls. It wasn’t my fault he’d gotten turned on...well...maybe. I’d be happy to relieve him.

At the top of the stairs, I let go of his hand and headed for my bedroom door. I wanted to kiss him again but I didn’t want to push it. “Night”

He stood there. Agony blazed in his silver eyes. “Tia, are you sure about me? That this isn’t just some passing infatuation?”

“I’ve known you long enough to be sure that it’s not. It if it was, it would’ve died, not grown stronger. Why?”

“Because...fuck waiting until I get back. I want to explore...Now.”

He closed the gap between us and crushed his lips against mine.

With my lips connected to Tia’s, we fell into her bedroom, and I kicked the door shut. The city lights threw a faint glow through the full-length windows, giving the room a dark blue tinge. Cupping her face, I guided her backward toward her bed. Everything about her—her touch, her smile, her sass, her soul—ignited my senses. I was there. There was no going back. Not ever. My heart had totally led me astray. This was without a doubt one of the craziest things I’d ever done. But I’d be foolish to not see if this fire brewing between us was destined to grow or burn us to a cinder.

“Is this okay?” I whispered against her lips. “Or do you want to wait?” My balls would object, but I wasn’t an animal.

“I’m good.” She tugged on my shirt. “I want you. In every possible way.”

Kissing her was like taking cocaine and oxycodone together—a total fucking high. My fingers trembled as I caressed and stroked her sexy arms, circled her back, or buried them into her hair. Every touch was new. Different. Heightened.

She clawed at my buttons and undid my shirt. Clutching at the edges, she peeled it from my shoulders and dropped it onto the floor.

My stomach dipped and dived. Shit. Taking a quick breath, I squeezed my eyes shut tight. I was more nervous than when I’d lost my virginity at fifteen. Everything was happening too fast. I couldn’t keep up. “Tia?” I pressed my forehead against hers. “Can we slow down? I’ve...never done this before...with a woman.”

Smiling, she ran her fingertips over my bare chest. Her cool, gentle touch blazed against my hot flesh. “I’ve never done it with a gay man.”

She had a comeback for everything. I loved that about her. “First time for everything, right?”

“Yeah. You’re just so gorgeous; I can’t keep my hands off you.”

“I’m not complaining.” I traced the arch of her collarbone with the softest of strokes. “There’s so much to take in. Your skin is so silky and smooth.” I kissed her sweet lips. “You taste divine...and there’s no stubble scratching my lips.”

She giggled, wrinkling her nose. “Am I less hairy than you’re used to?”
