Tori blushes a crimson shade and puts her hand over her mouth.

“I don’t know what to say but thank you,” she says. “I didn’t know what I was doing at all, it was really you guys who got me through it.”

“Of course it was,” Zach says. “But I’d have to say you’re a pretty crucial part of the equation.”

“That’s fair,” she says. “But if I’m honest, I really do want to get some clothes on. I know you guys are all comfortable in just your shorts, but I feel all kinds of exposed right now in my bra and panties.”

“But you look like a million bucks doing it,” Zach grins. “If I had my way, I would say you should stick to looking like this all day.”

“I have to get home,” she replies, unable to hide the smirk on her face. “Otherwise, it would be tempting.”

“What’s the rush?” I break into the conversation once more. “Do you have plans? From what you were just saying, it doesn’t seem like you do much with your time outside of making sure you get good grades.”

“Well, that’s fair, I don’t know,” Tori says. “I just feel like I’m intruding, that’s all.”

“You’re not,” Taylor says. “You were invited to come over last night, and you just happened to stay the whole night. It’s not intruding. In fact, I bet you anything the other two agree with me when I say we’re glad you did.”

“I know I’m glad,” I tell her.

“Me too,” Zach concurs.

She shakes her head, but there’s a smile on her face.

“We’ve got those frozen breakfast sandwiches in the freezer,” I say. “Why don’t we make up some of those and some hash browns, and Zach actually does a decent job with our espresso machine if you want a latte.”

“Way to volunteer me to do shit.” Zach rolls his eyes.

“Come on, we have a guest this morning. You know how rare it is for us to all enjoy having a guest in the apartment first thing,” I tell him.

“Yeah yeah yeah, you get the breakfast sandwiches, Romeo,” Zach replies.

“No one can throw those things in the oven like I can.” I smirk.

“Thought you were going to microwave them,” he says. “Don’t you usually?”

“I don’t usually make enough of them for everyone,” I reply. “Pretty sure we don’t want to sit around and watch each other eat one at a time, do we?”

“Dude, only you can make frozen breakfast sandwiches complicated,” Zach says with a shake of his head. “I could do this whole thing in a fraction of the time while you still stand out here and whine about it.”

“Be my guest,” I say with an elaborate sweeping gesture.

Tori giggles. This is the first time she’s seen us interacting with each other the way we do when there isn’t anyone else around. Now that we’ve gotten to the point of her spending the night after having sex, she’s one of the gang as far as any of us are concerned. We might as well act like it, right?

“Will you two shut the fuck up?” Taylor says. “You sound like two old women bickering about shit in there.”

“Says the guy who opts to do nothing at all,” I say. “There’s a pan, a stove, and hashbrowns on the menu!”

“Then throw them in with the sandwiches if you’re not going to use the microwave,” he replies.

“That’s not going to work, they go in at different temperatures and for different times!” I inform him. “You’ll have to get off your lazy ass and do something after all.”

“It’s a Sunday, I don’t even want to be awake right now, and I wouldn’t be if you three weren’t out here discussing politics at the top of your lungs,” Taylor groans.

“Politics?” Tori asks. “No one said anything about politics. I just felt bad because I woke up here when I thought I would be going home last night. I really didn’t mean to fall asleep.”

“I say politics because I care about whatever you were talking about as much as I care about politics.” Taylor rolls his eyes. “Since when do you not sleep in on Sundays?”

“Since never,” Tori says. “I’ve never been the type to sleep in when I think there are other things I could be doing with my time. Again, there’s a reason why I’m the star student much of the time.”
