“And, if you ask me, she’s getting a killer deal with this,” Zach chimes in.
“No one asked you,” I say.
But he continues anyway. “Think about it. Not only is she going to have sex with the three hottest, coolest guys on campus, but she’s going to get to do it while she’s working for the attention of the guy she really wants. It’s like the ultimate dream for any girl who doesn’t have the attention of the guy she wants to be with.”
“How the fuck would you know what the ultimate dream of any girl is?” I ask.
“I’m just saying,” Zach replies. “If I wanted to get a girl’s attention, and the only way to do that was to have sex with three really hot girls who wanted to show me how to get her attention, then it’s a total win-win for me. Not only do I get to have my cake with the girl I really want to be with, but I get to eat it too with the girls who are just hot and offering themselves up to me.”
“But she’s already said she doesn’t want to help us with chemistry, so there’s that,” I say. “And if you ask me, I really think that’s going to be the real deal-breaker here. Not only did you have to go and tell her that she’s got to have sex with us, but she’s going to have to also endure teaching us chemistry on top of it.”
“Chemistry for chemistry.” Zach laughs. “She’s teaching the scientific kind, and we’re teaching her the body kind.”
“It’s all scientific dumbass,” I tell him as I roll my eyes.
“And I did tell her that this was for her greater good. After all, if we all take a step back and look at the big picture here, then we all win. She’s going to learn how to have sex like some sort of nymphomaniac, which I really think Johnny ought to thank us for, by the way, and she’s going to get to spend the rest of her days with him. Or, she’s going to get to be with him and find out for herself that he’s not the guy of her dreams. If that happens, no harm no foul, she got her experience, and she’s ready to go with the next one, right?” Zach asks.
“I don’t care what she does with Johnny or the next guy or if she’s a lesbian, really,” I say. “I just want to stay on the damn team. The entire fucking reason I’m at this school to begin with is because of this team. I want to go pro after school, and I can’t believe it comes down to being able to write down stupid fucking chemical compounds that’s going to make the difference on whether I go pro!”
“Calm the fuck down,” Taylor calls out. “God, you’re going to give me a complex if you keep going on like that.”
“Anything from our princess perfect?” Zach asks.
“Nothing yet,” Taylor says.
“Told you she’s not going to do it,” I chime in.
“You don’t know shit. She might have texted you or me,” Zach says. “Who says she’s going to text the nerdy one first?”
“Hey!” Taylor calls out.
“If I were her, you’re definitely not the person I’d be texting first,” I told Zach. “She’s probably scared you’re going to send her a picture of your dick or something just to let her know what one looks like.”
“I would hate for her to see my dick first. If she’s never seen one before, mine will give her such high standards of what a perfect penis should look like, she’s not going to even appreciate yours. And poor Johnny’s never going to stand a chance when he gets a shot with her,” Zach says.
“Yeah, okay, sex god one-oh-one here,” I roll my eyes.
“Look, I don’t know why you have such a piss-poor outlook on this,” Zach says. “Confidence is key, I’m telling you. As far as I’m concerned, this little problem is solved.”
“It’s like fate brought it all together when you really think about it,” Taylor says. “I don’t think we could have asked for a better situation with her roommate moving out right now. And the fact that the school’s not going to replace her with another roommate means that we’ve got that space all to ourselves. Hello, karma!”
I can’t argue with that, either.
After all, one of the biggest issues we were facing in this situation was the fact that we had no idea how we were going to make all these rendezvous happen with her when she had a roommate, and there weren’t that many places on campus that were private enough for random hookups.
And with the way our target behaves, it’s not like she would be too keen on going off campus to hang out. At least, that’s not the vibe any of us got from her during the brief interactions we’ve had.
“I just can’t get Professor Hudson’s face out of my mind today,” I say as I sit on the bench with my bottle of water in hand. “She called on us three times more than anyone else in class, and with the way we fumbled the answers each time, I’m not sure if she was just trying to humiliate us in front of everyone, or if she was really seeing if we’re taking this seriously. Either way, I was about ready to get up and walk out of there.”
“I would have if I didn’t have so much riding on it,” Zach says. “Fuck that bitch. There was a time when I thought she was hot, but now I just see her as some miserable woman who can’t get laid and just wants to take it out on the hot guys in her class.”
“She was probably one of those chicks who did what she could to get the hot guy’s attention, but he snubbed her for her best friend or something,” Taylor laughs.
“With teeth like hers, I’m telling you, unless the guy was a fucking shark, he probably ran for the hills when he saw her coming. How would you get past those to do anything? I’d be scared,” Zach adds to the mirth.
I can’t stop myself from laughing along with them. It’s true. The professor’s teeth are prominent in her smiles. Not that she’s got bad teeth by any means, but she’s got the kind of smile that is all gums and teeth, so much so that I’ve often thought she looks like a horse when she’s really happy.
But then, Zach is right.
