Page 39 of Worth the Risk

When we enter the barroom, I lift her on a stool by the bar and ask, “Drink?”

“Yes, but just a bottle of water if you have it. Those daiquiris were strong.” That’s the most she has said to me in the past hour.

What is she thinking?

I grab a water from the bar refrigerator and a beer for myself. Coming around to the other side, I hand her the water and sit on the stool next to her. I whirl her stool so she’s facing me and move it closer so her legs are between my knees.

“Kylie, I’m new at this, but I can sense a change in you since we danced. You have me worrying like you might have changed your mind about us. Will you please tell me what is going on in that beautiful head of yours?”

She smiles widely, and a little of the dread in my stomach subsides.

“You think I’m beautiful?”

Okay, not what I was expecting, but I go with it.

“Of course. You are the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met. Not only on the outside but in here as well.” I place my hand on her heart. I’ve seen her kindness in the way she interacts with her friends and me when I was lost in my head at the club.

“Thank you,” she whispers.

“You’re welcome. But back to what I asked… what’s going on in your head?”

“I don’t know how to explain it. I’m mortified even thinking about telling you.”

What has her so scared?I thought I was clear about my intentions. I’m not sure she could say anything that would scare me away now.

“Please, tell me what you’re thinking.”

“Okay, here goes.” She takes a deep breath. “Beth said the reason James slept with her was because I was not sexually satisfying him and he came to her because of it. Knowing you’re more experienced than me, it got me thinking… what if I’m not enough for you?”

I’m not revealing the whole of my sexual experience with her. I have a feeling that will not go over well. She’s only been with one guy, and I’m so far off that number it would freak her out.

The part about her not being enough to satisfy me is crazy. I’ve only had her one time, and it was the best sexual experience of my life. Hands down.

Hell, I’ve been chasing after her since that first kiss.

She patiently waits for a response. “We had one night together. I’d like to believe you enjoyed it as much as I did. I can’t get enough of you. I only have to think of you, be near you, and I get hard.” I place her hand over the fabric covering my bulge. “Does this feel like a man who wasn’t satisfied or isn’t eager to be with you again? If anything, you have me on my knees, pleading for more.”

And there it is, that blush. She wants this as much as I do.

Time to show her how she affects me.

Grabbing her hand, I lead her out the patio doors to the hot tub. I mentioned the pool when I asked her out tonight, but the hot tub will be better for what I have in mind.

Releasing her, I remove my shoes and socks and unbutton my shirt. Once I take it off, I throw it to the ground before I unbutton my jeans and pull down my zipper, giving her a show. One she seems to like as her cheeks flush, and her lustful eyes are glued to my every move.

After pulling down my pants, I step out of them and toss them on top of my shirt. Kylie stares at my hard-on through my boxers, the head now over the waistband. I lower my boxers and step out of them as well, tossing them with my other clothes. Standing in all my naked glory, I let her gaze as long as she wants. I’m comfortable with my body, and I want her to be comfortable in hers as well.

“Your turn,” I say.

Her eyes dart around the area, and she asks, “Where’s Nash?”

“He went home to visit his family. It’s just you and me, Sunshine.”

Happy with my reply, she undresses hurriedly. She removes her dress, awarding me with her mouthwatering breasts, and her pink nipples pebble under my gaze as she removes her underwear.

She has a little blonde landing strip.

Yep, real blonde. She is one hundred percent real. Nothing fake about her.
