"I didn't come on to you. I asked you to save me from humiliation," she cleared up the facts, her face as pink as the lingerie set he'd have the pleasure of taking off in just a few hours.
"Right, Princess!" he chuckled and twirled her around. "But I'm sticking to my version of events since your memory is so foggy you don't even remember our song."
"You're making this up, right? It's not the same song we danced to."
"Guilty!" Liam nodded, and they burst into laughter.
"But I like it. So from today, it's our song," Eden announced. "I wonder who the artist is?"
"Hold that thought." He pulled out his phone to quickly Shazam the tune. "There you go. Choose To Love by Photronique."
"I think it's fitting, don't you think?" she asked.
"It is," Liam agreed. "Are you happy?"
"Completely." Eden sighed as she melted into his arms again.
"Me too," he admitted. "But I'll be even happier once I take off that dress and fuck you good. Prepare to be mind-blown tonight, Princess. The doctor gave me a clean bill of health."
"Welcome back, Mr Anderson," she grinned. "I can't wait to be mind-blown."
And, exactly three hours later, at his family's cabin in Silver Lakes, after settling Aiden in for the night, they were both mind-blown. After over a month of semi-celibacy with the occasional self-service, the consummation of their union was as intense and earth-shattering as their first time, but Liam was much gentler with her because of her delicate state.
"I love you so much," Eden said as he held her through her orgasm.
"And I, you, Princess."

Fifty-One
TOGETHER ALWAYS
Six Months Later...
After months of preparations, Eden's week-long exhibition at Fugue was a smashing success. She even sold two paintings. But with all the smiling and pandering she'd done to Rock Castle's uber-rich, she wouldn't have expected anything less.
So when Saturday rolled around, the only thing she wanted to do was crash on the couch and put up her feet. Not a lot for a girl to ask. But she wasn't destined to enjoy the little things in life.
Having tried every trick in the book to get her to give up her spot on the couch and leave the house with him, Liam finally let the cat out of the bag. Her friends had tasked him with the sacred job of dropping her off at Heat for a surprise baby shower.
Eden didn't want to go anywhere, but she'd never hear the end of it if she didn't show up. So she threw on black leggings and Liam's denim shirt, the only thing in her closet that still fit her, and a pair of sneakers. She piled her hair in a high ponytail, dabbed some light lipstick, and grabbed her tote.
Downstairs, she found Liam watching the news and Aiden scribbling in his colouring book. The latter immediately ran up to her to check on his little sister.
"Baby is sleeping?" he asked when he touched her tummy for a few minutes and still didn't feel the baby's kicks.
"Yeah, she's tired like mommy." Eden laughed and ruffled his hair.
"Okay!" Aiden called over his shoulder as he dashed to the living room to put on his shoes and get his backpack.
"You're rocking that denim shirt." Liam pointed at her and smirked. "It looks familiar."
"I stole it from my hook-up!" She grinned right back at him as he drew her in his arms and kissed her nose before pouring her a glass of orange juice.
"Thanks!" she mumbled while she looked through her tote for her prenatal vitamins.
"Ready to go?" Liam asked.
