Page 117 of Fated to Monsters

I lie there, still and pressed against his chest, my entire body radiating with sheer bliss despite being utterly ravished. I want to move, to reassure them that I’m fine, but I can’t bring myself to move a single muscle. It’s like I’m paralyzed by the pleasure and stunned by the pain.

Dash and Wes shuffle around, the two of them acting fast like they’re worried I might actually die as a result of sex with Bo.

But I just sigh and melt into Bo and revel in the possibility that eventually I’ll be able to have control over my body again.

The mark on my neck tingles, but different than when we started. It no longer radiates the same sensation, yet now it’s altered into something else entirely.

Does that mean that it worked? That Bo was able to successfully change it from an alpha mark into a fated mate's mark?

Bo raises me off his shaft but keeps me tightly to his chest. A cooling sensation washes over my pussy as words are whispered by who I can only assume is Wes.

A split second later, my eyes flutter open and strength is replenished in my entire form, the fatigue being replaced by pure fucking ecstasy.

I push off Bo’s broad shoulders and exhale. “Did we do it?”

Bo leans back onto the headboard and looks me over. “We did it.”

Lowering myself down, I press my lips onto his for a quick kiss. “We did it,” I repeat and collapse willingly at his side. “We did it,” I tell the two other beautiful men who are mine.

Bo scoops me into his arms and manages to climb off the bed. He glances over his shoulder on his way to the bathroom, “You guys coming?”

I scoot higher in his embrace and smile as Wes and Dash hop off the bed and follow us in, a look of contentment on both of their faces.

“I love you, guys.”

Dash rushes ahead and turns on the shower before Bo can get me there.

Wes comes to Bo's side as he lowers me onto the tiled floor, careful to give me an extra hand to ease me down as gently as possible. "We love you, more."

Dash takes my hand and leads me into the steamy oversized shower, pulling my hand up to his lips to kiss. “Yep, so much more.”

I'm overcome by emotions, tears welling in my eyes at how far we've come.

I once thought I hated these men and everything they stood for—never would I have imagined I would feel the way I do today.

First, I was stolen by monsters.

Then I was fighting for them.

Now, I’m fated to monsters.

And I couldn’t be any happier that I’ve fallen for the enemy.

Epilogue – Wren

"Wait, tell me again, which beats which, a straight or a flush?" I glance at the cards in Bo's hand and those laying out on the felt-lined table.

Bo narrows his gaze at me and presses his cards down to conceal them. “If I lose because of you I’m going to…”

But I cut him off. “If you lose it’s because you’re bad at poker.”

Deghan laughs and reaches for his soda, tipping it back and taking a healthy swig. “A flush beats a straight. But a straight flush beats both.”

I sigh. How could I retain enough information to successfully assassinate any target, minus Wes, but I can’t remember which set of cards triumphs over the other? Maybe poker isn’t for me.

“All in,” Dash says from his spot across from Silas.

Silas looks at Dash, and if I wasn’t certain of his character by now, I’d grow concerned about the intensity of his stare. That’s how Silas is. He’s mean and broody and a bit too serious for his own good. But he’s harmless, at least, unless you cross Willow or the rest of his family.
