“He beat you to it.” I grinned. “You going to help him?”

“Naw, let him finish what he started,” Keller ordered and went to sit down by the fire.

Zinnia chased Rush as he picked up her bag. It only took a minute before Rush found what he was looking for, then walked over to the tiny stove in the kitchen.

“Don’t you dare!” she yelled at him.

He flicked the burner on then looked over his shoulder at her. Their eyes locked as he tossed her packets of birth control into the flames of the burner. Fire licked at the foil, melting it almost instantaneously.

Zinnia shook her head, wide eyes on the mess it was making. “Why?” she finally whispered.

“You’re ours,” Keller told her, taking over for the kid.

She glared at him. “I don’t see what that has to do-”

Keller shoved off the wall and crossed the room toward her. Alden was standing still, watching everything go down.

Meat was in my hand, forgotten, as I too, watched the show. Breakfast was going to have to wait. I already knew what Keller was going to say, but I couldn’t wait to see Zinnia’s reaction. Our kitten was going to claw him to shreds.

“That means we’re going to take you whenever we want.”

“Take me-”

“Fuck you. Hard. Slow. In every position.” Keller’s eyes flashed as he circled her like he was a shark and she was an innocent harbor seal.

Zinnia didn’t circle with him. She lifted her chin in defiance, unwilling to cower before his dominant display.

“It means, Princess, that we’re going to fuck you so often we’re going to put our baby inside you before we leave this country.”

A look of disbelief flitted over her face. “If you think I’m going to let any of you touch me now, you’re fucking insane. I’m not having a baby.” She glared at Keller as he stopped in front of her. She tensed as Alden shoved off the wall and went to stand with his cousin, towering over her.

“Correct, you’re not having a baby, you’ll be having several.” She glanced at Alden when he spoke. “He’s right, Mouse. You’re ours.”

“That… I’m fine with,” she insisted.

“Being ours means living with us. Fucking us. Bearing our children,” Keller informed her.

She shook her head, mouth working silently. They gave her a minute to compose herself. Her lips pursed together. “That’s fine. At some point down the road.”

Keller stepped closer until the tips of his boots bumped hers. He stared down at her. “That point is now, Princess. We’re starting now.”

“I’m not having a kid right now,” she growled at him.

“Course not,” I piped up, “you won’t have one for another nine months or so.” I chuckled at my own joke, not bothering to swallow it when she tossed me a death glare.

Keller’s hand snapped out and he grabbed her by the throat. “This is what you wanted. You asked for this. For us. Well, this is what you get when you’re ours.”

“Fine,” she snarled, trying to shove his arm to get his hand off her throat. He didn’t budge. “Then I guess I won’t be yours.”

The laughter died in my chest. The fuck she was just going to walk away from us. Rush had been silent up until this point. He spoke up before either Keller or Alden could voice their angry reactions.

“You know that’s not true, Z. You’re already ours.” He walked forward and her eyes followed him. “We’re not letting you go now. We all know you wouldn’t run, not unless you wanted us to chase. And wewillchase you.” His tone was a warning.

She shoved Keller’s chest and he did her the courtesy of stepping backward. She was at her breaking point and none of us actually wanted to scare her off.

I watched as she left the house. “Anyone going after her?”

“No. Let her cool off,” Keller said. He paused as he thought better of it, then motioned for Alden to follow her. “Not too close, just keep watch in case someone comes by.”
