Page 50 of Bound and Beguiled

Too fast to track, the clamps on my nipples released. I screamed as a burst of sensation shot from my breasts to my clit, streaming fire along every nerve in my body.

Efa cursed, pulling Mared and I up and into her, our cheeks pressed to her chest. Her heart thundered beneath my ear, crashing in time with the waves of pleasure from every shuddering grind of Mared’s body against me.

At some point, the vibrator clicked off.

A lifetime later, our moans finally quieted.

Theplopas the very slippery dildo slithered from us and landed in the puddle we’d made was comically loud, but I couldn’t work up the energy to giggle. Mared managed a single huff, and Efa pressed a kiss to her sweaty forehead as she laid us gently down on the floor.

Efa trembled as she pulled us close—slow, irregular shivers that made my heart swell with pride and contentment.

I reached out and tangled my fingers with Mared’s, feeling well-used and blissfully happy.

“Godsdamn.”

Blearily, I rolled my eyes up, finding Emyr splayed out on top of Kynan, gleaming lines of pearly cum splashed across his stomach and chest. More cum dripped from his ass, falling onto Kynan’s softening length.

Emyr lifted a hand and pushed a hank of sweaty hair from his face, grinning wickedly at me.

“Happy un-wedding night.”

After that, we all needed a bath. It was a tight fit, but luckily the tub was large and we weren’t afraid to cuddle. We trooped through the shower to rinse off the worst of the fluids, spent a leisurely twenty minutes soaping and petting each other, then refilled the tub with fresh water for a good soak.

After everything we’d done that evening, it was hilarious to me that a bath was what made me feel sinfully hedonistic. But the land I’d grown up on hadn’t been rich with water, and being a majority Human settlement—and not a rich one—our water had been heated by a wood-fired system. Instant, unending, magically heated water was a luxury I didn’t intend to stop appreciating.

Mared cleared her throat, drawing my meandering attention. Under the water, her calf slid against mine.

“I have a question, but I don’t want to upset you. Would now be an okay time to ask? It can wait.”

“Now’s...fine,” I answered slowly. The trickle of alarm felt very cold in the steamy bathroom. I focused on Mared’s face, squashing the speculation that wanted to rise.

“What’s going to happen to the girl? The one Shithead was seeing on the side?”

Oh. I didn’t fight the smile that spread over my face. “She’s going to be fine. That’s who Katarina’s mom was calling when we left. Aunt Nina’s going to move her into an empty cottage on their farm and bully Franklin’s parents into taking care of her and the baby’s expenses for at least a year or two.”

“Really? Just like that?” Emyr sounded doubtful. I didn’t blame him, but he didn’t know Katarina’s mother like I did.

“Aunt Nina usually gets what she wants,” I said, grinning. “Although, Franklin’s parents probably won’t need much convincing. After today’s embarrassment, they’ll be jumping at any chance to save face.” I sobered, thinking about them and the baby that would be their grandchild. They hadn’t been great parents, but they’d loved Franklin. Hopefully, they wouldn’t take their grief at his loss—which was assured, given the proof against him—out on his child. Of course, they’d have to get through Aunt Nina and the rest of the family to do so.

“Good,” Mared said. “I’m glad.”

“Second question?” Emyr asked, brushing a kiss over my knuckles. I nodded, and he continued. “What do you want to do now?”

“What do you mean?”

Efa waved a hand. “Do you want to keep working here? You don’t have to stay here anymore. You’re safe now. You can do whatever you want. I’m sure Honey will let you keep staying with her, if that’s what you’d like to do. Or you could look for a place of your own. Find work on a farm...or there are some orchards nearby. I know you’d like to spend more time outside.”

“I don’t...know,” I forced out, when the silence grew too long. My toes curled and I sat on my hands, my gaze firmly on the water and not any of the people around me. Embarrassment tightened my throat as I realized I’d expected us to just keep living together as we had been. Maybe move to their place, since this room was only a loaner. I liked working at the Broken Crown, and I’d thought I was doing a good job—thought they liked working with me too. But—

“Cariad bach, look at me.”

I didn’t want to. Gods, I didn’t. But I raised my head, meeting Kynan’s eyes. With an expression both kind and stern, he shook his head at me.

“Stop thinking what you’re thinking. This isn’t goodbye. This isn’t us pushing you away.” His hand wrapped around my throat, right where his collar sat—when we weren’t in the tub, that is. “I’m too selfish to walk away from treasure when it falls in my lap,” he growled, and the others murmured their agreement.

I was suddenly the center of a very wet cuddle puddle, laps and arms and lips everywhere.
