“I love you, Daddy. Sorry if I hurt you more,” I reply as I look at his face which is looking more bruised than before. Maximus smiles at me.
“Worth every ounce of pain, shorty.” I watch as Sean steps forward and presses a kiss to my forehead.
“Get some sleep, I’m going to sleep in my room so I can hear Maximus if he needs anything. Love you princess.”
I whisper a love you before watching the twins walk out of the room, as Jason turns the covers back on the bed and lays down a towel.
“Put her down here.”
Christian lifts me with ease and moves me to the bed where he places me on the towel and holds me as Jason cleans between my legs and sensitive back passage. Whilst he dries me off and removes the towel from underneath me Christian helps me to take some painkillers and drink some water.
“You are amazing, do you know that sweetheart?” he whispers into my hair as I lean against his chest. I feel Jason climb into the bed behind me as the lights go off.
“I will second that. You were so brave tonight in the arena and out of this world when we got home. You have no idea how loved you are angel,” Jason says as he kisses my shoulder and puts an arm around my waist.
“Everything I am is because of my four amazing Daddies,” I reply as my eyes close. “I love you all,” I whisper as exhaustion takes me.
???
I wake a few hours later to Christian and Jason both snoring softly beside me. I look at them both in the early morning light and smile remembering the way the night ended. I slowly lift my head as I hear a soft moaning coming from outside my room. I climb off the bed trying not to wake the guys and head out onto the landing. It’s there I realise the moaning is coming from Maximus’s room. I head straight down to him to find him groaning in his sleep. I look at the time and know he won’t be able to take more painkillers yet. Instead, I climb into bed with him and run my hand over his head as I place my other hand in his. Maximus instantly starts to settle. He lets out one slow moan and my heart breaks knowing he’s in pain.
“Shorty?” Maximus turns his head and looks at me. “What’s the matter? Are you okay?” he asks as he lifts my hand and kisses the knuckles.
“You were moaning in your sleep, Daddy,” I whisper as I press a soft kiss to his cheek. “I hate not being able to help you when you are in pain. Is there anything I can do?” I ask. I see the corner of Maximus’s mouth lift slightly.
“You being here is more than enough,” he replies before pressing a kiss to my forehead. “Go to sleep shorty.”
“Night Daddy,” I whisper as I relax my head resting on his shoulder as he leans his head against mine and we both quickly fall back to sleep.

Jason
I walk into the sitting room and see Christian on one of the sofas.
“Penny for your thoughts?”
Christian ignores me and continues to stare into space, spinning his phone in his hand, a million miles away. I know this look; he’s fighting with his demons. As much as he likes to pretend the choices he’s made in his life don’t affect him, they do. There are days he disappears into his own head and all we can do is give him space when he asks for it. The fact that he isn’t hiding in his own office tells me that today space isn’t what he wants.
I don’t say anything else to him I head to the bar and pour two glasses of whiskey before placing one in front of him as I take a seat. Christian looks at me like I was the last person he expected to see.
“When did you get home?” I watch as he picks up his glass and examines it for a moment before taking a sip.
“Just. Where is everyone?” it’s quiet which tells me they are either out or Jasmine is keeping them busy.
“Jasmines in her studio, Maximus and Sean are training. I’m sure they will all be up soon enough.” With it only being two weeks since Maximus’s fight he shouldn’t be training for more than an hour every couple of days. Christian looks at his phone and turns it upside down as if hiding from whatever is on it.
“Everything okay?” I ask sitting back and taking a sip of my drink. Christian nods, but there is no conviction in it. “Try that again, but this time don’t lie to me.”
Christian looks up and sighs.
“It’s nothing. Someone is trying to get to me and right now they are succeeding.”
“Do I need to keep an eye out for trouble?” I ask but Christian shakes his head.
“No, it’s all past shit they are throwing at me, dating right back to that Grant guy.”
“Your first kill?” I ask frowning. “How would anyone know about that? Tommy and I never mentioned it again and Hardy who made you do it is dead,” I continue but looking at Christian’s face I’m just saying shit he already knows.
