Lizzy clapped her hands excitedly and rubbed them together in what I assumed to be an expression of glee. “Good. Because about now, I could eat an entire horse!”
Sometimes human expressions amused me.
The thought of her consuming an entire horse was only as amusing as the thought of her riding one…
Or even better…
Riding me.

LIZZY
I was givenmy father’s old room, and although my initial response was to turn it down and go for one of the smaller guestrooms, the moment I pressed my hands to the bed and felt the perfect balance between hard and soft, I knew there was no chance I was going to give it up.
I nodded my thanks to Uhti.
I turned back to the bed to plump the pillows and realized those too met my perfect hardness.
Not too soft, not too hard, with some kind of soft feathers from some kind of unknown alien species.
I could tell my father took sleep as seriously as I did.
Was that the only similarity we had? I wondered.
I had wanted to ask Uhti more about my father, about any traits we might have in common, about things every other child knew about their parents instinctively as they had grown up with them.
But I could never bring myself to admit I wanted to know anything about him.
I stiffened then, feeling eyes on me.
I reached up and scratched my neck and found my hairs were standing on end.
I peered over at the doorway and saw Uhti still standing there, watching me.
At the last moment, he dragged his eyes away, blinked, and shook his head. “Is there… anything else you… require?” he asked.
“No, thank you,” I said. “You’ve done enough already.”
He smiled, nodded, and then said:
“Get up at any convenient time tomorrow and go downstairs to the dining room. The staff —yourstaff — will give you whatever you wish.”
He bowed respectfully and drew the door closed.
I stood there for a moment appraising the door as if I could see through it.
Uhti had been staring at me…
And not in a normal way you would with a stranger…
But in a way I had gotten used to only recently.
The hungry, desperate look of an alien male going through his Steyatt.
It only then occurred to me then that perhaps he was also going through the same trials and tribulations as Blor had.
There was no way to ignore how he had stared at my ass.
