I was going to be their first, so I supposed that gave me a bit of protection.
They wouldn’t know our history or culture or how we express ourselves emotionally… and that could be what saved me.
I had no idea what the contract said and I didn’t care.
I would have willingly given up everything I owned — both what my father had built and my own meager possessions back home — just so long as I could leave that place with my consciousness intact.
Seeing the two gorgeous, muscular alien males sitting on the other side of the table reminded me of what I would get to enjoy the moment this was all over and I was free.
I felt a lump in the back of my throat at the sight of Blor, who I had assumed I would never see again.
He was stunningly beautiful with his yellow-tinted skin and gorgeous tall horns… although they looked a little worn and rough from the last time I had seen them.
I wondered what story they had to tell and felt excited that I would soon find out.
Blor had always been a little rougher around the edges and appeared, to my eyes at least, as if he had been through the wringer.
His eyes were puffy and darker than before, and his lip looked like it had been split and hastily stitched back together.
Had he been in a fight?
They looked exhausted and in need of some TLC.
I only hoped they would get to do that… preferably with me sandwiched between them.
I hadn’t stopped thinking about the sexy time I had spent with each of them ever since I came to this hellhole.
It was a welcome escape from the terrifying situation I had found myself in.
I had hugged those memories close, drawing them so deeply into me that I could have consumed them.
I loved nothing more than to relive them one delicious moment at a time.
And Iwouldget to enjoy them again — within moments of us being free if I had anything to say about it.
The moment the document was signed, the creatures escorted us out, back to our ship.
I once again struggled to contain myself until we got on board.
I hugged them both and kissed them on every available scale I could find.
Tears spilled down my cheeks and I didn’t think I had ever been so happy.
Then Uhti climbed into the pilot’s chair while Blor strapped me into a passenger seat.
He took the one beside me and held my hands in his.
Then he checked me for injuries. “Are you all right? Are you okay? Did they hurt you?”
I shook my head. “No. They didn’t hurt me. They were going to assimilate me, but then learned they wouldn’t get anything if they did.”
Blor let out a sigh of relief before his eyes caught on something.
I followed his eyeline to my waist, then to my back and the base of my spine.
He fingered the open back of the hospital gown the Hive had dressed me in.
His frown deepened at what he saw there.
