“If you don’t stop, I’m gonna,” I panted.

“I don't plan on stopping. Do you want me to stop?” He pulled his hand away.

“No, please,” I begged.

Ethan grabbed my hip and shifted me forward, so my pussy was directly against the leather seat. He moved my hips, so I was grinding the seat. My juices made me glide back and forth. He revved the engine. The vibrations slammed into me.

“Fuck, I’m gonna cum,” I moaned, grinding harder against the seat.

“Peach, cum all over my seat.” He revved the engine one last time.

I exploded. My body was on fire. He continued to grind me against the seat until the last of my orgasm faded.

“Good girl, let’s get something to eat.” He hit the gas, and we sped off into the night.

CHAPTER18

Ava (Day 2 into 3)

Even under mybed with all the lights on, I couldn’t sleep. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Brad. After a few hours I crawled out from under the bed.

Dottie’s room was only a few doors down. We shared a room up until two days ago. She was used to my nightmares. No matter how often I thrashed or screamed, she slept through it.

I knocked softly on her door. Nothing. I tried again. Nothing. After a few more times, I gave up and turned the knob. It was unlocked. Phew.

All the lights were on. Dottie was curled up in a ball on her bed. Soft snores filled the room. I tiptoed in and crawled into bed with her. She rolled over, put her arm around me, and pulled me into her.

I slept. Not well and not for long, but I slept. Dottie got out of bed early. Like the sun hadn’t come up early.

“Why are you up so early?” I mumbled, pulling the covers over my head.

“Joseph wants to swim before school. He is really good.” I didn’t need to see her to know she was smiling.

“You really like him, don’t you?” I pulled the blanket down, might as well get up.

“I do. He calls me Aunt Dottie.”

“That’s awesome.” I got up and headed to the door before she asked me to join her.

“Give the kid a chance. Like it or not, you are gonna be his step-mom, and I will not let you be one of those evil ones.” She gave me the stern mom look.

“I’m not good with kids. What if I lose him? Or forget to feed him?” I backed up, getting closer to the door and further away from the conversation.

“That’s not gonna happen,” she sighed. “Well, not again.”

“I gotta run. Love you.” I turned and left.

Had I known I was gonna be a step-mom, I probably wouldn’t have entered the auction. Kids scared me. Thankfully I didn’t know. Putting myself up for sale was the best, bad decision I had ever made.

Last night Ethan said he had some meetings with his dad all morning. I would have to find a way to entertain myself for the day. I had no problem with that. I planned on taking a long hot shower and then figure out the blow dryer. Maybe after that I would mix some powders and make a new blush. There were also all the clothes to try on. Yeah, I could definitely entertain myself.

I opened my bedroom door and screamed. Blood, so much blood.

People ran. My head spun. I couldn’t hear. Someone shook me. I stared at the blood. I was being pulled away. I needed to see.

Whoever was trying to move me stopped. I stepped forward. A ringing sounded in my ear, or was it someone yelling at me? I didn’t know,

Someone shook me again. I flinched. They stopped.
