“Thank you,” Ava whispered.
“Anytime, Peach. Now tell me his name.” I grabbed her hand and brought it to my lips.
“Brad Busby.” She averted her eyes. There was something she wasn’t telling me.
“Where is he now?” There had to be a reason she still seemed scared. Maybe he was still around. Lurking in the shadows. I would kill him.
“Not sure.” Her eyes never met mine.
“Peach!” I tucked her pink hair behind her ear. “You’re safe.”
“Two years ago, he left for Tentokesee. Felix and Sandy think they might have seen his tent recently. I doubt it.” She continued not to look at me.
I wanted to rattle her. She was safe with me. How did she not understand that? I would serve this Brad to her on a platter.
“Okay, now tell me how you were going to return the favor.” I pulled her in for a kiss. From the corner of my eyes I saw my father walk into Tristan’s house. Fuck.
“Ya know. Do what you did for me.” Ava ran her tongue across my bottom lip.
“No, I don’t know.” My lips grazed hers.
“Like the same but for you.” Her cheeks reddened.
“Say it, Peach. What were you gonna do for me?” I loved how nervous she got with dirty talk.
“I planned on sucking your cock.” She giggled and hopped out of the car.
“Peach, you are gonna get it!” I called out to her.
She turned and stuck out her tongue. Then she ran into the house.
I chased after her. Inside she stood frozen. I almost ran her over. Then I saw what stopped her. My father was standing there, glaring at her.
“Ava, if you will excuse us.” I kissed the top of her head.
She nodded and walked away. Damn, she had a killer strut.
“Get rid of her.” My father jerked his head back toward where Ava was walking.
“She just walked away. What did you need?” I didn’t have time for this.
“Not what I meant, son. I will not have a Moore marry some homeless person. Get rid of her and find someone else.” My father tried to stare me down.
“No.” I pushed past him and went to shower. Ava had me so worked up I needed to cum.
CHAPTER17
Ava (Day 2)
Ava,
I owe you an apology. My last letter may have been interpreted as cruel and cold. I assure you that is not me. Since we are to be wed and there is no way to get out of it, I checked, we should get to know each other.
I am not sure what type of timeline you have with your other suitors, and I don’t care. There will be a car to get you tomorrow at six p.m. If there is a conflict, make other arrangements for said conflict.
Best,
Adam Gould
