Seriously?
I pulled harder, faster. I needed to nut.
Knock. Knock.
I put him back and answered the door. It could have been news of her. Then after she told us where our stuff was, I would make my visions a reality.
It was Jane. She flicked her eyelashes at me. There was no way she knew anything of Kira, she wouldn’t even have the clearance to know who the girl was or what we wanted with her. Jane pulled on the bottom of her shirt.
Ugh. I knew what she wanted and any other time I wouldn’t deny her. She was cute, had nice curves and wicked thick lips. I had thought about them around my cock before. But tonight I couldn’t stop thinking of that bitch, Kira.
“You seemed stressed when you came in here, Sir. I was hoping I could help.” Jane twirled her pigtail between her fingers.
Any other time, I would have loved this. Any other time! I pinched the bridge of my nose. Was I really about to turn down those lips? No, I could do her. It would relieve the pressure in my nuts.
“Not right now.” My dick had gone soft from the aggravation. I slammed the door.
“Well, whenever you want it, I’m here!” she yelled from the other side of the door.
I paced the room attempting to think of anything else. There were so many things I could have been doing to occupy my time. Number one was to run my business. There were plenty of real estate decisions that needed to be made. There were also a ton of tech decisions in the lab awaiting my approval. None of them mattered right now. I laughed. None of them had mattered since that brat walked into my office.
I had to get her out of my mind. Once she was healed, I would find a way to get her to talk. Maybe if I told her the truth of what she stole. Then she would understand why we needed them back. Would she even care? Jason was right, without the coding they wouldn’t work. But if she knew how to code. Did she know what she stole? Maybe she did. Either someone paid her to take them or she did it on her own. If she did it on her own it would have been to destroy them. Why else would she want them? If someone paid her and they had them, we were all fucked.
I squeezed my forehead, this was getting me nowhere. I had no clue why she stole my Nant-bots. I had no clue how to get her to talk. Shit, I didn’t even know if she was gonna live. Being out of control like this was wreaking havoc on me. I didn’t like it one bit.
Knock. Knock.
“Come in,” I shouted. Hopefully it wasn’t someone else trying to have sex with me.
Pat stepped into the room and clasped his hand in front of him. He was my head servant. The man kept everyone else in line. If it wasn’t for him I would be lost. I told him as much once and he blushed so hard, I decided to never tell him again. He was also the only one with enough guts to tell me how it is.
“Yes, Pat.” I waved him inside.
“Sir, I understand Kira did something very terrible. I am not one to deny that. In fact I am one of the few that knows what she stole, so I get it. I’m not defending her. I know she did wrong,” Pat rambled.
“Please get to the point, Pat.” I got up and walked over to the mini bar I had. I poured myself a whisky.
“You have her locked in a cell,” Pat snapped.
I poured him a whisky and handed it to him. He took a small sip and smacked his lips.
“Yes, I know. It’s where a thief belongs.” I waved my glass around.
“She is a good person.” Pat stomped his foot. That was one of the things I loved about the man. He stood up against me, even though he knew at any moment I could snap and fire him. I wouldn’t, but he didn’t know that.
“She is a thief. We caught her. Remember?” I took a gulp of whisky. How could he forget that?
“I know. But I know people. And I know she had a good reason. Just because we don’t know it, doesn’t mean it isn’t good.” Pat placed his glass down. “I’m going to fix up her cell. You may insist she needs to be in there, but I insist it needs to be fit for a human!”
“Fine. She gets a mattress and a blanket.” I pointed my finger at Pat. “That’s it!”
“You almost killed her and you think a mattress is enough? Sir! What has gotten into you? This is not you.” Pat crossed his arms.
“I have to get her to talk. You think she is gonna want to talk if she is sleeping on silk sheets and cotton pillows or whatever fluffy things you want to put in her room!” I poured another glass.
“Yes, I do. Be nice to her and she just might open up to you.” Pat walked over and grabbed my hand. “Sir, you are a good kind man. Deep under the exterior. Sometimes you need reminding of that. I will not allow you to keep treating this girl like this. I will prepare her room. And then when she is better, talk to her. Tell her what the Nant-bots are. Maybe she will tell you where they are.”
The door flew open. There were only two people that would open my door without knocking. Both of them were standing there. Jason and Derek stood in the doorway heaving for air. They must have ran to my room.
