“Nice?” I offered.

He laughed. “I was going to say fuckable, but I thought it might be inappropriate.”

“We need to go,” Neo said, his voice icy. “If you’re both done drooling over Jezebel here, I mean.”

I was tempted to bite back, but forced myself to ignore him. It was what he deserved, and denying Neo Alinari attention was the worst punishment of all.

Besides, some of the other guys were there too, and Matt came up to me with a sheepish grin. “You look unreal.”

I returned his smile. “You’re looking good too.”

He ducked his head and I could have sworn his cheeks flushed. “Thanks.”

“Salvatore!” barked Neo. “Out.”

Matt shifted his eyes away from me and hurried for the door.

A couple of the other guys walked past, murmuring nice things about how I looked, and I was suddenly flush with pleasure. There were worse things than living in a houseful of gorgeous guys who lavished me with compliments.

Except for Enzo. He was wearing his I-Wish-Could-Murder-Willa face, and I wondered again why he hated me so much. Neo made sense. We were unwilling family now that our parents were married..

I resisted the urge to gag as I remembered it.

Gross. Neo Alinari really was my stepbrother. That actually happened.

But Enzo? The only explanation was that it had to do with my father. Some of the kids were more identified with the family business than others, and Enzo obviously took it very seriously.

“Got something to say?” Oscar asked, staring Enzo down.

Enzo’s mouth turned down in a frown as he shook his head. “Not a thing.”

“Good,” Oscar said, his arms folded over his chest. “You should probably keep it that way.”

Enzo followed the other guys out of the house and a series of car engines fired to life outside.

“Let’s move out,” Neo said, heading for the door to the garage.

“No coat?” Rock asked as he moved into step beside me.

I’d opted to skip the coat, not wanting to cover up the dress. Plus, it was still warm enough that I didn’t think I’d need it. I’d be wearing the shit out of it when the weather cooled off though.

“I’m good,” I said.

He nodded and slung an arm over my shoulders. “All the better for me to keep you warm.”

I shook my head. “Has anyone ever told you that you’re incorrigible?”

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” he said.

“She’s talking about you being a brutish fathead,” Oscar said. He offered me his arm. “My lady.”

I stifled a smile and took his arm. I was liking these two way too much.

“I’m hurt, babe,” Rock said. But he was smiling as we stepped into the garage. “You can make it up to me later.”

Neo was already making his way through the massive space, the motion sensor lights coming on as he walked past several expensive cars and three motorcycles.

“What the…?” I didn’t finish my statement. I couldn’t. I was too stunned by the series of cars in the garage, which included the Porsche, a BMW convertible, two Audis, and a sleek red Maserati.
