Brooklyn
I was floodedwith chaotic emotions. As Jaxon helped me stand up and carefully untied my wrists, I felt amazed at myself. Having my hands controlled had turned me on beyond what I thought was possible. Jaxon lifted my wrists to his mouth, kissing where his tie had been. I smiled at him shyly, not really knowing what to say after his dirty talk.
Gideon knelt in front of me, using a towel from his personal bathroom to clean between my legs. He was careful and tender. I was overwhelmed as I looked down at him and saw his own feelings shining back at me. My big man was always tough, but just for the moment, he was showing his soft side to me. I tugged on his beard softly, which caused him to smile, and he turned his face into my palm, kissing me.
My dress was pulled up and straightened with quick hands. I looked over at Oliver, thankful for his thoroughness with checking that everything was put back where it should be. After Gideon went to the bathroom to put the towel away, Oliver helped me back into my panties. I threw my arms around his neck and buried my face in his shoulder.
“Hey, babe, what’s up?”He asked.
“Nothing. I just feel really good. Can we go home now?”I asked.
“Of course,”Oliver said.
We walked out of the office together, laughing at a joke Oliver had just dropped. Walking into the owner’s VIP level, I froze, taking in what I was seeing. Gideon bumped into me, but then his arm snaked around me to keep me from stumbling.
“What the fuck?”His deep voice vibrated in his chest.
“Is that?”Oliver started to ask.
“Apparently,”Jaxon answered, anticipating the question.
The person in question was a petite brunette that was currently sitting against Aiden’s side in one of the booths we could see. Viv walked up with two drinks and I could see from her face that she wasn’t thrilled with the woman being there either. I took note to thank her for being a good friend later. Right now, I wanted to find out who in the fuck the woman was with Aiden.
I tried to pull away, but Gideon’s arm around me tightened. He could read my thoughts before I had the chance to act onthem. Aiden’s dark gaze had landed on us and I watched as a number of emotions flickered across his face, before he settled on indifference. The woman, noticing his attention being pulled away, looked over.
I stared in astonishment as a huge, bright smile spread across her face. She bounced up to her feet, tottering on heels that made her a few inches taller, but still shorter than me. Her walk was like that of something expected on a runway. She was small and dressed in a skimpy skirt and a backless top, her small breasts clearly free under the thin material.
When she got to Oliver, who was standing furthest forward, she threw her arms around him. To his credit, he didn’t embrace her, but became a statue. She pulled back with a mock frown and looked up at him.
“Oli, aren’t you happy to see me?”She pouted.
Oli? I thought to myself. No one called him that. His face was stone as he looked down at the woman.
“Don’t call me that,”he said through gritted teeth.
Looking over at Aiden again, I saw him down the drink Viv had just brought him. His hair was disheveled, and I immediately assumed it was from her hands. A pit of dread and sickness spread through my stomach. I knew Aiden had pushed me away, but I didn’t know that meant we were completely over.
The small woman was now moving toward Jaxon, leaving Oliver looking like he’d just swallowed something rancid. Jaxon side stepped her and stalked toward Aiden. She looked after him for a moment, before focusing on Gideon, who was still holding me.
“Hi muscle man,”she crooned.
“Why are you here?”Gideon asked.
“Couldn’t I just come and see my boys because I missed you?”
Her boys? My brain was screaming at me. Why would this woman be calling them her boys? I remembered that briefly it was mentioned by one or more of them that they had shared a girlfriend before. But I never thought to get more details. Never thought I’d need to be worried. But here I was faced with a woman that was all over Aiden and trying to touch all of my guys.
I could see Jaxon motioning wildly by the booth, but Aiden’s gaze was glued to me. Or was he staring at the woman standing in front of us? I couldn’t see her from the back, but maybe it was impressive. I leaned back into Gideon’s comforting embrace, happy he wasn’t shying away from me or trying to embrace the woman.
“If that was even close to the truth, it still wouldn’t make any sense,”Gideon shot back.
He then moved to take my hand and walk around the woman. I could hear her talking to Oliver behind us, but Gideon kept moving. As we approached, I could hear some of Jaxon’s rant to Aiden.
“You know what she did to us before. And now that we have money and success, suddenly she pops up. This stinks Aiden,”Jaxon was saying.
Gideon tried to pull me past the booth, but I stopped and yanked back on him. He stopped and looked at me and shook his head in warning. But I was already angry and confused. Nothing was going to stop me from saying something to Aiden.
I walked to Aiden’s side, just as the small woman was sitting back down next to him. To his credit, he looked uncomfortable, and he lowered his arm from the back of the booth so it didn’t look like he was embracing her any longer. I bent, so my words could be for him and not for her.
