As soon as the words had left his mouth, she was jumping up and down and clapping. “Even better!” she squealed.
“Hey!” he protested, while Chandler dramatically clasped at his heart.
But he knew they were both happy to make her so excited.
“Do you need to get changed?” Chandler asked.
Chyanne laughed. “I don’t want to get a second set of clothes dirty.” She grinned at the two of them. “I know how much you hatedirtylaundry, Daddy.” Then she turned to Aaron with a coy look that made his cock tighten. “Andyouhave nothing but dirty thoughts, isn’t that right, sir?”
He was on her in an instant, pulling one of her pigtails back with a firm hold.
Her eyes widened, and her cheeks flushed, only making her more stunning. And the little gasp that emitted from her perfect lips was doing things to him.
“I think you mean—”
“Master,” she murmured, her tone equally aroused and reverent.
“Say it again,” he ordered, tugging harder. Then he bent and kissed the word from her lips.
“Behave if you don’t want us to change our minds,” Chandler said, but he was grinning ear to ear.
The three of them left the room, walking side by side with Chyanne in the middle.
“How did you get into barrel racing anyway?” Aaron asked.
She paused in her step for a moment as she looked at him, seeming surprised by the question. “I guess I’ve just always loved horses.”
“Really?” Chandler asked, sounding surprised. “You mean the way that elementary school girls love horses?”
“Yes,” she admitted with a giggle. “I was one of those. Doodling them on my notebooks and all that.”
Aaron laughed, too. “It’s hard to imagine you doodling.”
“I was young once, you know!”
“You’re still young,” Chandler insisted. “What drew you to horses?”
“You know, I think they’re beautiful. Not in a pretty pony kind of way.” She wrinkled up her nose in distaste, causing them both to laugh. “They’re… majestic. And they’re that way all the time. Whether you’re playing with them, or riding them. They demand respect. Kind of…”
“Kind of?” Aaron prompted.
She was blushing when she answered, “Kind of like you two.”
“That’swhy she likes us so much,” Chandler rejoined.
“You admire things that demand respect,” Aaron mused aloud. “That’s very interesting, Chy.”
She smiled beautifully, and he couldn’t fail to notice she did that every time he used his nickname for her.
“I would have thought it was love of competition,” he remarked.
“Well… I didn’t say that was theonlything.”
Aaron and Chandler burst into laughter, and eventually Chyanne joined in. It was the kind of laughter that seemed infectious. One of them would stop, and then the sound of a giggle would set them off again. They laughed all the way to the stables.
But when they got there, her giggles faded. She was both eager and hesitant to approach the stables, and it was an interesting thing to see.
Almost without being aware of it, Aaron stopped to watch her. When he glanced over, he saw that Chandler too had stopped and was letting Chyanne go ahead of them. She would take two swift strides forward, then stop. One long leap, then pause.
