Goosebumps prickle my skin.

“Let me say goodbye before you whisk her away for the evening.” Mateo states as he wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me to his side.

Tomas smiles. “Of course.”

Mateo turns me in his arms, his large palm holding the back of my neck as he delivers a passionate kiss. His tongue is hot and wanting as he explores my mouth, pulling me tight against his body. “Don’t forget about me at home, all alone.”

“I could never forget you,” I tell him breathlessly.

“Good, then my work here is done.” He grins and untangles himself from me then gives my ass a hard slap which propels me forward. “Enjoy your night, kids.”

Tomas walks over and gives him a kiss, then takes my hand and we walk out to the waiting limousine. Tomas opens the door for me, and I jump in.

I feel like a princess going to a ball.

Tomas joins me on the other side and takes a seat. He then links his fingers with mine before raising my hand to his lips and kissing it ever so softly.

“Are you nervous?” he asks, rubbing his thumb over my palm.

“Yes,”

He squeezes my hand lightly. “You will do fine, be your naturally charming self.”

“Easier said than done. What happens if they ask me about myself? What do I tell them? Because I have no idea.”

“You can tell them whatever you want to tell them, what you feel comfortable with, or change the subject. I will be there to help you.” Those hazel eyes sparkle as he reassures me.

I take a deep breath. “What’s the story between us, then? How did we meet? How long have we been together?”

Tomas mulls over my questions. “We stick as close to the truth as we can. We met by chance here on the island. It’s a new relationship. We are taking it one day at a time, getting to know each other.”

That’s the truth. We’ve only been around each other a couple of months, living together 24/7 and now sleeping together does expedite a relationship.

“You look stunning tonight. I may have forgotten to tell you,” Tomas whispers into my ear before his lips move down my neck, electrifying my body with his touch. “How did we get so lucky finding you? You are something neither of us realized we were missing.”

His words make my heart soar.

Maybe this unconventional relationship could work.

His hand runs along my thigh, sliding easily against the silk of my dress. “You were perfectly made for us, Zoe,” he whispers. “You were made for me.”

My heart rate increases with each confession.

“I love Mateo with all my heart, and I didn’t think there could possibly be room for more, but there is, with you.”

This is the most candid Tomas has been about us. I know exactly where Mateo stands on the idea of the three of us, but Tomas as always holds the cards close to his chest. In this moment I know exactly how he feels.

Tomas pulls the flowing fabric of my gown up, exposing my thighs. Then he’s pushing my legs open, his hand sliding along my skin, sending goosebumps over my body. “I need you, Zoe. Just you and me.”

My head falls back against the soft leather of the limousine. I let my legs fall open ready for him. My heart thunders in my chest as my body begins to come alive.

“Do you want me, Zoe?”

“Yes, so very, very much.” I reach out to him, grab the lapels of his tuxedo, and pull him to me. Our lips meet, and it’s the match that has lit the tinder box between us. Something takes over between the two of us. Tomas presses himself between my thighs, but the angle doesn’t feel right, and I can’t feel him against my aching center. My hands push back against his shoulders moving him away from my lips. Tomas falls back against his seat, his hazel eyes are wide, and a frown is etched across his face, wondering why I have pushed him off.

I don’t give him a moment to think that I’m second-guessing us being together as I move and straddle him. I’m probably crushing my dress, but who cares when Tomas is looking at me like he is, surprise and hunger sparkling behind his hazel eyes. My hand finds the button of his tuxedo pants, then the zip, and I slowly open his pants. I rub my palm against his impressive bulge.

“I want you, Tomas,” I tell him breathlessly as I continue to palm him through his underwear.
