I repeated the words back to him, my eyes stinging a little.

“Through the anger of our fire. Through the disquiet of our wind. Through the shaking of our earth. Through the darkness of our water.”

The same words slipped from my lips, my arms tightening around his neck as I attempted to pull myself closer to him.

The wind whipped around us, but it felt like a friend, cheering us on.

Sirus continued, his voice low and sexy. “Regardless of who or where we have been, we are now one in mind, body, and spirit.”

I repeated the words, feeling every one of them in my abdomen.

Mind, body, and spirit.

So fucking intense.

“I am your Sirus, and you are my Sway.”

“I am your Sway, and you are my Sirus.”

“Until the wind lies.” His voice was a soft growl.

“Until the wind lies.”

We clutched each other, our lips melding together as the wind hauled us back up into the air, carrying us higher and throwing us around.

It was celebrating—and I was too.

My legs wrapped around Sirus’s hips, our mouths still merged as his hands slid up my thighs, their roughness on my bare skin making me groan into his mouth.

“I want you now,”he growled at me, his power carrying the words into my ears even as the wind moved loudly around us.

“Then what are you waiting for?”I whispered back, feeling my own magic slip away from me to carry the words to the man I wanted.

The man I loved.

My mate.

He pulled my dress to the side, then teased my core with his fingers for a moment before he lined his tip up with my entrance.

And as the wind blew around us, he slid himself deep inside me.

We moved as one, our mouths devouring each other desperately, and when we shattered?

The wind carried my scream into the sky.

I had a family, and a mate.

Even in my wildest dreams, I never could’ve pictured myself in Bluhm, tying my soul to a gorgeous wind fae on top of a fucking mountain.

But there we were.

Our relationship wasn’t perfect.

Nothing in my life had ever beenperfect.

But I wouldn’t have changed one single second of it.
