But Taylor wasn’t in the mood for listening to Bodie’s concerns. As far as Bodie could tell, his mind was totally made up at this point.

‘I don’t give a damn how horrible Nigel can be,’ Taylor said, impatience and genuine anger in his voice. ‘He obviouslyhasn’t come up against a real man before. I won’t allow him to cause you one single second of pain. Not again. Not on my God damned watch.’

Bodie couldn’t help but feel a tingle of excitement as Taylor showed off his full Daddy Dom power. Taylor was commanding, in control, and standing up for his Little.

In truth, Bodie felt a swell of pride inside him.

Taylor washisDaddy, and he was being about as protective as was humanly possible. But Taylor wasn’t done yet…

‘If I’m your Forever Daddy, and I surely hope I am,’ Taylor said, a look of steely focus on his face. ‘What I need to do is set a precedent. You come before my public image or my career. You are my Forever Little and that’s all I care about.’

Bodie was blown away.

To hear Taylor speak like this waseverythingto him. Bodie felt reassured, comforted, and safer than he ever had in his whole life.

‘Now, message that jerk and tell him to come here,’ Taylor said. ‘Don’t worry, it’ll be the last message you ever send this despicable piece of crap.’

Bodie nodded and picked up his cell phone.

It was time to bring Nigel to the diner where hopefully he would meet his match in Taylor…

Bodie sat quietly as Taylor talked with Chopper, Mitch and their other Daddy friend, Ryder. The four Daddies were individually intimidating, but as a foursome looked like a small army.

Cody and Kane had come to offer their moral support to Bodie too…

‘It’s what Little friends do,’ Kane said, putting his arm around Bodie. ‘Right?’

‘One hundred percent correct,’ Cody said, holding Bodie’s trembling hand. ‘We’ve got each other’s backs. That’s how we Littles role in Cape Daddy!’

The three Littles managed a quick giggle. Even in a difficult moment, Bodie was able to appreciate how lucky he was to have found Kane and Cody. Bodie hoped that if they ever needed his help, he would be there for them too like they were being for him.

But before Bodie could get too comfortable, he looked up and saw the door to the Cape Daddy Diner swing open.

It was Nigel.

And Bodie’s ex-boyfriend and current boss looked as disgustingly smarmy and smug as ever…

‘Urgh. What is this? The local small-town posse?’ Nigel sneered. ‘Pathetic. Honestly just sad.’

But Nigel’s sense of superiority wouldn’t last for too much longer, not if Taylor had anything to do with it.

‘Now you listen to me,’ Taylor said, stepping forward and standing face to face with Nigel. ‘There are ways of doing things and you are being out of line. I willnotstand for it.’

Bodie gasped. He had heard Taylor being commanding before, but there was a harder edge to his voice now. If Bodie didn’t know it already, he could now really see that Taylor meant business.

‘Shrug, shrug and shrug again. Your stupid hick ways don’t cut it with me,’ Nigel said, a cruel laugh following his words. ‘This place is a total joke. I’m doing you a favor getting you out of here, Bodie!’

There was suddenly a hushed silence in the diner.

The confrontation had grabbed everyone’s attention and all eyes were suddenly on Taylor.

This wastheTaylor Modene.

Son and heir to the Modene family fortune.

He was a respectable, successful man who had never abandoned his Cape Daddy upbringing. Taylor was the ultimate citizen of Cape Daddy.

‘Taylor!’ Bodie gasped. But he could do nothing as Taylor gripped a shocked Nigel by his ear and marched him right out of the diner and onto the street outside.
