Page 47 of Walker

“You were speaking my mind,” I tell Walker when he turns off the bike. He kisses me sweetly on the lips and lifts me off the bike.

I join hands with both, walking inside and taking a booth. I sit beside Darren with Walker in front of us.

I yawn and rest my head on Darren's shoulder looking around the cute diner. It looks like we are transformed back into the sixties. With the white and black checkered flooring, the bright red seats, the jukebox in the corner of the room, and the waitress wearing a pink uniform.

A waitress brings us a menu and takes our drink order before she hurries to the back. We’re the only people here besides a couple on the other side of the diner that arrived after us.

The woman catches me looking and I smile at her and her eyes drop to the table fast. “Here you go!” The waitress slides our drinks in front of us and we order a breakfast feast. My mouth waters at the thought of hash browns, bacon, and eggs.

“I can’t believe you even remembered who Charles was.” I laugh at the sight of his face when they made him come in to apologize to me.

Darren laughs with me and Walker just looks pleased with himself. He reaches over the table, touching my lips. “Darlin, he touched these lips, those belong to us, of course I will damn remember that fucker.”

Darren chuckles, kissing my temple. “Well he sure as fuck won’t be forgetting Walker for a long time,” he says smugly.

I roll my eyes at them and take a drink of my water. “How’s your pussy feeling?” I spew my water out of my mouth at Walker’s brass question.

“WALKER,” I hiss and take the napkins out of the holder wiping my face and the table.

Walker is practically lying in the seat from laughing so hard and Darren has tears in his eyes while helping me clean up the mess.

“You’re a menace, both of you!” I growl at them through clenched teeth.

Walker covers his face, laughing. “Well how is it?” Darren asks.

I gape at him looking around the diner to make sure no one heard him. “Darren, you are so going to get it later!” I whisper yell at him.

Walker drops his hands. “Oh so does that mean you’re better?”

I’m going to smother them both in their sleep tonight. “I hope your pillows are never cold ever again.” I cross my arms across my chest, pouting.

“You’re so fucking adorable; I just can’t stand it.” Darren wraps me tight in a hug, the mock anger goes right out the window.

The waitress brings our food and I basically throw Darren off me once my plate is in front of me. “God, what is it about drinking and breakfast at two am?” I say out loud to myself.

I moan when I take a bite of my bacon. “God this is the best.”

I notice the guys are completely silent. “What?” I ask.

“I’m one second from taking that bacon from you with you moaning like that,” Walker threatens. What do I do? I take a huge bite, licking my fingers clean.

I know I’m playing with fire, but oh how I want to be burned.

Walker mumbles something under his breath and I try not to laugh. Darren squeezes my thigh under the table and I rest my head against his shoulder for a second before I go back to eating.

I look back toward the couple and notice that he is the only one eating. The woman’s head is down and looking at the table.

I think something is going on there so I keep an eye on her throughout dinner. I notice her watch him eat and then look down suddenly like she is afraid that he will catch her.

She walks to the bathroom and I take my moment. “I’m going to the bathroom,” I tell Darren so he can let me out of the booth.

Walking past the guy, I get a first glance at him, and I cringe at the horrible vibes I get from him.

I walk into the bathroom and the woman is in a stall. I go and wash my hands, waiting for her to come out of the stall. I hear her sniffle and my heart cracks a little at the sound.

She walks out of the stall a few minutes later and she sees me standing there. She looks to the ground not meeting my eyes.

“How are you?” I ask her, washing my hands once again to try to make her think I’m not just standing here for her even though I really am.
