He nods. “Yeah she fucking did.”

I suck in my lips, looking from Darren to Walker feeling properly scolded. “Darlin, you could never ever be a bother, get that shit out of your head.”

Tristan starts laughing. “I’m going to lay something out for you Summer, they’re just using this as an excuse to be around you.”

Darren turns around to look out the window and Walker is glaring at the back of Tristan's head mad at him.

I can’t stop the giggle that slips out. Well, why didn’t they just say so? My house soon comes into view. Walker gets out and moves around the truck while Darren takes my hand practically dragging me into my house, so I’m not left out in the open.

“You can relax in the living room if you want.” I point to the TV remote.

“Go relax sweetheart, I’ll be fine.”

My bathtub is calling my name. I need time to myself to come to terms with everything that has happened, to relax and to cry.

He killed so many girls who looked like me, he attacked so many people last night because of me.

It’s a lot to take in right now.

CHAPTER 4

SUMMER

I end up at a house I’ve never been to. It has major farmhouse vibes; it’s beautiful.

Darren lifts me out of the truck and doesn’t stop walking with me until he reaches a bedroom. It’s huge with a monstrous bed right in the middle of the room.

“Whose room is this?” I ask as he sets me down on the edge of the bed.

“It's mine,” Walker answers me and disappears in his closet coming back out with a shirt. “Here, sweetheart.” He hands me a large t-shirt of his.

“Thank you, I probably should’ve grabbed some clothes when I was home earlier.” I rub my eyes still tired; I feel like I haven’t slept in a year.

“Nah, you can borrow my clothes anytime,” Walker says and I peek up at him from between my fingers. “You are a wicked person,” I tell him and he just smirks, proud of it.

I stand up and Walker crowds into me. He bends down until his mouth is pressed against my ear. “You don’t have a clue,” he whispers.

I bite my lip, trying to pretend to be normal, like I’m not completely dying on the inside.

Darren runs his hand up my back, sliding his hand under my shirt touching my bare skin.

I suck in a sharp breath at the feel of his warm, rough hand stroking across my skin. My knees are weak. I turn around and face Darren, his hand still on my back, drifting up my back.

Walker’s hands settle on my hips, pushing my hair over my shoulder as Darren settles on the back of my neck, gripping tightly.

“Kiss her, taste those lips.” Walker’s hands settle on my stomach, rubbing gently, drawing small circles.

Darren’s eyes are dark, staring at me with such want. “With pleasure,” he says, before pressing his lips against mine.

I let out a sigh at the feel of him kissing me. I’m overwhelmed from the touch of Darren’s lips against mine, Walker stroking me from my belly to my back, leaving a burning trail.

He pulls back, kissing my lips softly once more before kissing my forehead sweetly. I close my eyes, just taking in the moment.

“Now go change so we can cuddle your ass,” Walker says and I laugh, looking at them both.

I slip into the bathroom shutting the door. I stare at myself in the mirror. My lips are swollen, my eyes bright. I bring my fingers to my lips, touching them like I can still feel them there.

I bring Walker’s shirt to my nose, smelling. God the way he smells is intoxicating. They’re right outside that door, both have kissed me, my mind wanders to what this can be.
