I can’t resist the urge to look back at Summer. Fuck, she is in my heart. I rub my hand over my chest, it’s like I can feel her there every second of the day.

As I was passing the kitchen to go to the bathroom, I catch the end of a conversation. “Yeah, that bitch out there is a whore. Who does she think she is speaking to me like that? I should beat her ass.”

I see fucking red.

What do I do?

I walk my ass right into the kitchen, leaning against the doorframe. “I know you’re not speaking about my woman like that are you?” I ask her.

She looks around the kitchen for the others to help her, but they go back to work, ignoring me completely. “No, it was about someone else.”

I stare at her for a few seconds until she looks away at the ground. “Just remember, she may be nice, but I’m not. I want another fucking waitress also.” I wink at her and do my business in the bathroom.

Dinner was amazing and I was so glad that I didn’t see that waitress anymore. We had another one and she was delightful.

“How do you guys feel about a nap?” I yawn when they hold the door for me to step outside of the restaurant.

“I’ll never turn down a moment cuddling you, babe,” Darren says sweetly, rubbing my back.

We turn the corner to go to our bikes when suddenly Walker pushes me gently into Darren's arms. Darren shifts me behind him, pressing me against his back as we watch the scene unfold.

“That bitch! She got me fired!” the waitress from earlier screams at me, pointing her keys as a weapon.

Walker holds her shoulders, so she doesn’t get close to me. “I’m sorry you got fired, but the only thing that got you fired was your attitude. Look at you right now. You want to fight me over this?”

Her eyes are wild, I expect her to be foaming at the mouth any second from her craziness. She needs a mental health assessment. She points at me. “I will kill you,” she tells me and my stomach drops.

A bike pulls into the parking lot and stops right beside us. “Well what do we have here?” A woman climbs off the bike. Just looking at her I can tell she is lethal and the man on the bike is seriously scary.

Walker grins at her. “It seems this bitch here wants to kill my woman.” He lets her go and she saddles right up.

“I haven’t had a good tussle in a while.” She grins at the waitress like this is the best day of her life before turning to me. “The name’s Shaylin, Walker is my uncle. Go on home kids, mom has some fun to do.”

Darren pretty much carries me to the motorcycle; I catch the beginning of a scream as the bike starts up.

I can’t bring myself to feel bad.

CHAPTER 9

SUMMER

The waitress is a distant memory by the time we arrive home. Darren carries in my case for me setting it on the kitchen table.

“I’m going to take a hot bath,” I tell them both, kissing their cheeks and leaving them in the living room.

I need a moment to myself after a day like this. I strip out of my clothes and let the warm water glide over my skin easing away the aches.

I set my phone on the counter and turn on Grey’s Anatomy, my eyes close, and I drift away.

One thing though I’m thankful for is my guys; I pretty much humped their sides earlier staking my claim with them. I giggle at the sight of their faces when I pretty much claimed them.

I grew up with the disgust from my teachers and the other kid’s parents, they didn’t understand my parents’ way of life.
