As she padded her way over the plush carpet of her room, she picked up trinkets and clothes strewn all over the floor. Vanessa placed them on a chair next to her door and walked into the bathroom.

She looked at her reflection in the mirror.

Her olive complexion seemed brighter. Her hair, tousled and a bit wild, shone like copper against the light. Her breasts looked plump and ripe like two large apples. She released a sigh that was half happy and half frustrated and placed her hands on the counter to take some of the weight off of her shoulders for just a moment.

“Nessa?” She heard Nunzio call through the door. He knocked lightly. “Are you okay?”

Vanessa could not help the blush that streaked over her cheeks at hearing him ask after her. She noticed and liked that about him. He always seemed to check in with her, even as she was having a good time. “Crap,” she muttered softly. She didn’t want to start liking things about him. She was going to have to get rid of him.

She steadied herself, placed her hand on the door, and pulled it open.

“Oh. My,” she whispered as Nunzio stood tall above her. The light behind him shone like a halo welcoming her home, and every particle in her was pulled to be near him. Magnetism. Any thought of getting rid of him … gone.

Nunzio wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in for a deep kiss. She did not pull away. She opened her mouth and let his tongue explore hers. His lips were like silk, sliding over hers like two rose petals. A moan escaped her throat and echoed into his. He wrapped his arms around her even tighter and stepped into the bathroom.

When Nunzio pulled away, he had a wolf-like grin on his face.

Although she was breathless from the kiss and couldn’t seem to get enough of his skin on hers, she found a way to word her question. “What?” she asked.

“I just thought of something we didn’t do last night. If you’re okay with it, I’d like to try.”

“Yes,” she breathed. The word came out before she could control it. Before she even thought about it. But she realized she actually meant it.

Nunzio didn’t wait.

He lifted her onto the counter and positioned her where he could see her entire body. He placed his hands on her knees and splayed her legs open for him to look. He looked at her, meeting her eyes. “My God. You. Are. Beautiful. Every part of you.”

Vanessa melted.

Nunzio lowered himself between her legs and kept hungry eye contact with her. She watched him, and the electricity between them sizzled through the air. Nunzio did not break that contact, even as he placed his lips to her folds and let his tongue roll over her clit. The intensity in his stare was enough to set her body on fire.

Her body bucked under the pleasure, and she held onto the counter for dear life, determined not to let this moment slip away.

Nunzio held onto her legs and supported her while he stroked the inside of her folds with his tongue. One side, then the other. His mouth wrapped around her engorged womanhood, and he sucked so delicately that she thought she would burst out of her skin. As he moved around the hood of her most precious spot, he found the buzzer that made Nessa begin to quake. As he flicked and flitted his tongue over it, his hand slid over her thigh, and he slipped his finger inside her.

“Ohhh …” she purred as the pressure inside her began to build.

She could only ride the waves of what was happening between her legs. He plunged his fingers in and pulled them out in rhythm. She pressed her head against the wall for support. “Fuck,” she whispered, and her body erupted as the pressure exploded through her. She bit her lip and clenched her hands, trying, but failing, not to grab onto Nunzio’s head as she opened her legs wider to let the last bit of the spasm crackle through her body.

When she had quieted, her breathing had steadied only just a bit. Nunzio peeked his head up from between her legs. He raised his eyebrows. “Good morning to you.”

He stood, leaned over, and helped her sit. She wrapped her legs around his waist and let him kiss her openly, deeply, and passionately again. His hand ran up her neck to cup her jawline, and happiness wrapped her in the warm blanket of his arms.

When she pulled away to hug him, she looked over his shoulder in worry and thoughtUh-oh.How did I let this happen?

The shower before work ended up being another sexual distraction as she tried desperately to unhinge herself from the man in front of her. By the time she was dressed for work, she had had three morning orgasms, and her legs felt like jelly.

But that didn’t stop her from kissing him goodbye and watching him walk away as he left in his car for the day. Once he was out of sight, she collapsed against the wall of her building. She had to catch herself for a moment and spare her brain from the heady fog-like feeling her head was thriving on.

Vanessa walked to the office as it was not far from where she lived. She took deep breaths of fresh air into her lungs to avoid getting sucked into the bliss she knew was not eternal but no less threatening to steal her individuality and her belief that anyone in the mob was bad news. Not because they were bad men but because their life expectancy ran shorter than other, normal, not-in-their-line-of-work men.

She sat at her desk, staring into space.

Vanessa tried to separate herself from the kerfuffle that had happened last night in the living room, the bedroom, the bathroom, the kitchen, the spare room, and the office … she released a shuttered sigh and pounded her desk. “No,” she said adamantly. “No. I will not let sex turn into something more. I don’t have to combine sex with feelings.”

However, he is caring and sweet. He does know Greek,a voice from the depths of her mind said. “No,” she repeated out loud again. “No. He would do ‘work’ when we are out.”But he knows how to dance and loves to make your body seize with extreme sensations you had never felt before…even from your own hand.

“Dammit,” she said, throwing down the pen in her other hand. She was weak. Her irritation swelled more. She wouldn’t be able to take another death by a mob. She didn’t want to experience that. That was why she had shielded herself from the family in the first place.
