I don’t have to say what I need from him. There are certain givens in our relationship. He starts thrusting harder and faster, nipping along my collarbone and making me moan.

“God, Chelsea. I love you so damn much.”

My back arches as he picks up momentum. When he hikes my leg over his shoulder, I drag my nails down his back as I try not to scream. It’s the middle of the night in the dorms, after all. I try to havesomerespect for those around me.

“Come on, sweetness, let me hear something.”

“Too…loud. People…sleeping.” I can barely put a thought together, let alone express it.

“Mmm, I don’t care about them. I only care about you and pleasing you. So, tell me, am I?” With his words, his thumb finds my clit.

“Yes!” I all but scream the word as I writhe beneath him.

He keeps going, breathing heavily against my neck as he keeps slamming into me. The sensation overwhelms me, and I grip his shoulders, tightening around him as my head tips back and I all but choke on a breath.

Wes doesn’t say anything as he pistons faster and harder until his head drops forward and he groans against my shoulder.

After he stills, he collapses against me, kissing along my shoulder and neck, breathing heavily. He pushes up on his hands and looks around, grabbing his boxers and using them to clean me up before tossing them to the ground.

“Now it’s official, sweetness. Mine forever, sealed with sex. Exactly the way it should be.”

“I love you, you weirdo.”

“I love you, too. Now come here and go to sleep.”

I snuggle into Wes’ chest and fall asleep, knowing all is right with the world, and I’m with who I’m meant to be with. Somebody who loves me, and adores me, and puts me first.

Somebody who may have left me, but he also camebackfor me.

Chapter 47

It’sbeenthreemonthssince Wes came back, and almost every day I still have to make sure he’s real.

That’s what I’m doing this morning, staring at him as he lies in bed next to me, fast asleep, with his arm draped over my midsection.

A tendril of hair has fallen over his forehead, and I gently move it back into place.

“I’m right here, sweetness. I’m real, and I’m not going anywhere.” He hasn’t even moved or opened his eyes, but somehow, he knows what’s going on in my head.

It’s early, I’m still an early riser, but Wes isn’t. I’ve started sleeping a little later, and he wakes a little earlier, but there are a lot of times lately when we’re just like this. The dorm hasn’t really started waking yet. There’s a few bangs and voices, but it’s mostly quiet.

After Wes was officially back, he basically moved into the dorm with me, and Shay into the apartment. We prefer dorm life, while they like their solitude, so it works for everyone.

Three times a week, the guys go do something athletic together while Shay and I spend time together, but we always end the night with our significant other. It helpsallof us sleep better. We also head over to the apartment for dinner at least once a week.

It’s the best of all worlds.

And over breaks, we move our things back into Wes’s room.

“I just still have to make sure sometimes.”

He tightens his arm around my waist and pulls me closer. “I told you I’m not going anywhere. You’re mine, for good.” His eyes pop open and swirling through his cobalt irises are devotion and love.

“It’s really good to hear you say that.”

“You’re mine.” He brushes his lips against mine. “For good.” This time he presses our mouths together, his tongue slipping through my lips.

“I’ve been thinking that maybe we should get our own apartment next year. Dorm life is fun, but I’m kinda old for it, and I hate imposing on Lochlyn and Shay. It was fun living together when it was just us guys, but we’re both in committed relationships now. What do you think?”
