Glancing up at him, I see his eyes widen as he tugs my hip closer to him. “No, no, baby, Ilovedit. Trust me. I just think you’re plenty sexy without it.”
I shrug. “It was kind of fun. Like I had a dirty little secret. It made me feel a little more confident, I guess? I don’t know. It was fun, though, shopping with Chelsea.”
“I should have known Chelsea was involved.” There's a grumble to his tone, but not too intense.
“Her intentions were in the right place. She didn’t say I had to, didn’t push anything on me…much. She didn’t even force herself into the dressing room while I tried things on.”
“Wow, thatissurprising.”
“Are you sure you liked it?”
He leans in and kisses me, twirling a curl as he pulls away. “Baby, I loved it.”
Whatever confidence the bra and panty set had brought me is now gone. “I, uh, I bought another one.”
Lochlyn quirks up an eyebrow. “Oh, really?”
I just nod in response, having lost my voice.
“Do I get to see it?”
“If you want to.”
“Oh, I definitely want to.”
I bite my lip and slide off the bed, crouching by my suitcase and pulling it out. I hold the bustier up and watch as his eyes grow wide, and he hardens.
“I am very much looking forward to seeing that on you. Can you make it a surprise again? Don’t tell me when you’re going to wear it, just put it on under your shirt.”
I giggle. “I wasn’t expecting to do much getting dressed.”
“I figure while you’re here, I’ll take you over to campus, out to dinner, maybe take you around Ithaca a bit.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, of course. I have to show off my girl.”
A giant smile spans my face as I climb back up next to him. We’ve never been able to go places and really be together, always having to sneak around. It’ll be a nice change.
“I’m starving. Come on, I’m making you dinner.” His hand squeezes my hip.
“Me? Dinner? Well, I feel very special.”
Leaning in, he kisses me tenderly. “You are very special.”
Lochlyn hops off the bed and pulls on a pair of sweatpants, leaving the room with a quick wink that makes me turn into jelly. I rifle through his drawers and pull out a t-shirt, slipping it over my head and pulling the collar to my nose.Lochlyn.
I pad out into the kitchen where he’s already begun pulling out an assortment of vegetables. I lean against the doorframe, not really sure what to do with myself.
“Come here.” His voice is deep, commanding.
I skip over to him. Putting his hands on my waist, he lifts me up, setting me on the granite. Even though I’m on the counter, his height makes him still stand about an inch taller than me.
“Now, I know you can’t really help, but maybe watching me, you’ll learn something. At the very least, you’ll be close to me.”
“What are you making?”
“I am making you pizza.”
