“Yeah, I don’t need a wife to have a good time.” Cash waggled his brows.

“Dude, you’ve got a baby on the way.” I reminded him. “And a baby momma.”

“I’m not in love with Rachel.”

“Can we keep this about me?” Ire asked harshly. “I want to go back to my wife.” He looked for her. “Wherever she went.” Worry crossed his face.

“You heard the groom. Raise your glasses,” Storm told us. “To Ire, may you have a lifetime of happiness with your one and only.”

“Hell yes,” Ire replied.

Cheers were shouted and a fewsaludosbefore we tossed back our shots.

I relished the burn and was about to go for another when music and clapping started.

“What the fuck?” Storm growled.

I turned around and the women were at the gazebo. The bride and her matron of honor, Maddy, were inside and the other women surrounded them on the grass. My wife was one of them.

“Hello KLMC family!” Maddy shouted. “To kick off the reception, the old ladies and I have put together a little something for you. Especially you husbands in the back.” She blew a kiss to Storm.

“What the hell is my very pregnant wife doing?”

“Singing is my guess.”

“Raymond hit it.” Maddy pointed at my brother standing off to the side.

An unfamiliar song blasted through the speakers.

“No way!” Lynx shouted. “Jaynee and Sadie have been singing this song around the house all week.” He clapped and whistled. Sadie was doing the same routine as the old ladies.

“Angel is going to go into labor shaking her ass like that. It’s too early.” Storm growled.

“Relax, papa. She knows what she can handle,” I told him, patting his back. Maddy wasn’t the only pregnant old lady dancing all sexy. Roja, Tina, and my woman were giving it their all too.

“What song is this?”

“Girls!”the women shouted.

“‘Run the World,’” Lynx said.

“Girls!”the old ladies shouted while dancing. Maddy sang the lead. She was phenomenal, but she was no Beyoncé.

“Do you think they’re trying to send us a message?” Dodge asked.

“I love it!” Lynx jammed to the music.

“If it’s a message, it’s a cocky one.” Prez crossed his arms over his chest.

“They’re just letting us know their plan was successful,” my dad said. “But I don’t like this public display.”

“Me either,” Storm grumbled.

“Man, I’ve never seen Ava shake her ass like that.” Ire licked his lips.

“Come to think of it, Emilee doesn’t do it much either,” Dodge said. “I want to see more of this.”

“Angel… Angel, Angel, what am I going to do with you?” Storm stalked toward the gazebo. I had the feeling he thought his wife planned the performance.
