Page 32 of Bone's Destiny

Jesus, Almighty, Christ. Had I been so backed up, any woman’s lips around my dick would’ve felt spectacular, or was it because it was Destiny? I didn’t want to know the answer.

Hell, I sensed I knew the answer. It wasn’t one I liked.

She’s burrowing under your skin. Cast a spell on you, and now you’re damned.

Damned to hell.

Destiny

“Oh my gosh.” I flop onto my back on the mattress and fight to catch my breath. That was the most enjoyable BJ I’d ever given. Everything about Mr. Sexy Grump appeals to me. His scent and how he tasted had made me instantly addicted to him.

He even filled my mouth perfectly.

Perhaps we were on the cusp of finding common ground. If he could trust me, then I could trust him. Common ground; I liked the sound of that.

I wasn’t sure what had come over me to offer to suck him off.

He brought you nachos and a beer.

He had sure surprised me. It was so sweet and warmed my heart like he’d given me a gift. It made me want to give him something in return.

Why a BJ; I didn’t know. I just wanted to.

I rolled onto my side, tucking my knees into my chest and my hands under my head. A nap would be good. I closed my eyes, and his face was there…

“Destiny, wake up.”

“Hmm?” I touched the hand on my knee and opened my eyes. “You’re back already?”

“It’s been a couple of hours. I bought you some clothes.” He raised a shopping bag. “If you’d prefer to sleep instead of shower, I’ll come back in the morning.”

“No. I’m up.” I stretched on the mattress like a cat, rounding my back and extending my legs. “What’d you get me?”

“Just stuff. Got help from the lady behind the counter to help with sizes and whatnot.”

Oh my gosh, how sweet.

“I don’t know what to say.” I reached my hand out for him to help me. More as a test to see if he’d do it than anything else.

“It’s not a big deal.” He grabbed my hand and jerked me off the floor. He was scoring points left and right. At this rate, I might like him for real by the end of the week. “The shower is upstairs in the main part of the house. If you cause any problems, I will never bring you out of here.”

“I promise to be a good girl.”

He snorted like he didn’t believe me.

“I mean it. Just because I did what I did, doesn’t mean I don’t know how to behave myself.”

“Come on.” He led me down the basement hallway, up a flight of stairs to what I assumed was the main floor.

My eyes went wide and my heart skipped a beat. “Is this a mountain lodge?” The wooden beams over the head and walls made of logs were like all the pages I drooled over in my magazines.

“No. Just a big house made of logs.”

“You don’t see many places like this in Fargo.” I glided my hand along the wrought iron railing leading up the second set of stairs.

“We’re not in Fargo.”
