Theo had made sure I knew that his room was right next to hers as he grinned like the Cheshire cat.
Putting her hands on my shoulders, she said, “Crap. What does this mean? Do we have to sneak in and out of our room? Or maybe we should try to get a new one?”
I ran my hand up the back side of her thigh and squeezed. “That depends.”
“On what?”
“Why do you think we need to sneak around or get a different room?”
Just because I was a straight man didn’t mean I wasn’t fully aware that Theo was good-looking—I’d certainly seen plenty of women fall for him when we were in law school. He also hadn’t held back in letting Delaney know he thought she was beautiful and that he was attracted to her.
“I don’t know if you want him to know that you’re staying with me.”
I frowned. “Why wouldn’t I want him to know?”
“I don’t know. Because I’m your ex-wife.”
I didn’t know what that had to do with anything, but it didn’t matter. What mattered was, “Do you not want him to know?”
“Me?” She looked surprised I’d even asked.
“Yeah.” I skimmed my palm around the inside of her leg and dragged it up, up, up until I reached her hot center. “You.” I slid two fingers over her clit, then inside her as a low moan fell from her lips. “Do you not want him to know this cunt is mine?” My words were accentuated with a deep massage to her G-spot.
Her eyes drifted closed, and she threw her head back as she clutched my shoulders, all while moans filled the air.
“Delaney, I need you to answer me.”
Another sound could be heard in the near distance. It was a sliding glass door, but it wasn’t ours. It was the one next door.
“I don’t care if the whole world knows,” she said just as I heard Theo step out onto the balcony next door.
We didn’t have the light on, but the lights from the Vegas strip and our hotel room would be enough for him to make out Delaney and me in the dark.
“Do you want to fuck Theo?” I asked as I thumbed her clit.
She shook her head. “No.”
“He wants to fuck you.”
She opened her eyes and looked down at me. “What do you want, Preston?”
I wanted Theo to see how much this woman was mine. And not just for the weekend.
Pausing my hand, I chuckled in a way that was more warning than from humor. “I’m not sure you’re ready for the answer to that.”
She ran a thumb over my lips. “I am.”
I wasn’t sure what came over me because I certainly hadn’t planned what I was about to do, but everything in me screamed it was what I needed to do.

DELANEY
“Remember, you asked.”
Preston withdrew his hand from my body, and I immediately felt his absence, especially when I had no idea what he was going to do next.
“Turn around, Delaney,” he said and leaned back in his seat as he sucked my juices from his fingers and stared at something behind me.
