Using a finger, I lifted her face so she could see my eyes. “Stop. It was fucking amazing.”

Wondering how often she did it with others, I frowned.

“Please tell me this isn’t what your past boyfriends were complaining about.” Bunch of prudes, if it had been.

She chuckled. “No. The few times I’ve ever done that were with myself. Never with a guy.”

I growled and drew her tight as I kissed her. My dick grew hard between my legs at the mere mention of being the only man to make her squirt. Especially over and over again.

If I hadn’t put her through so much already that afternoon, I would have rolled her onto her back and found my way back inside her.

But she didn’t need me shoving my cock into her so soon, so I reluctantly lifted my head.

“I love that I’m the only one,” I whispered against her lips. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome, honey,” she whispered back.

With a groan, I threw my head back against the pillow. She was making it really hard for me to be good.

I needed something to keep my mind off of sex.

“Does this mean you’ll stop calling me Rayne Storm when I’m mad?”

Laughing, I said, “First, I rarely call you that anymore. But when I tell you I’m in the mood for Rayne Showers, you’ll know what I mean.”

She groaned again.

I looked at her. “We’ll just make sure not to tell Beau about your new nickname.”

A small snort escaped her. “What did my brother want anyway?” She narrowed her eyes. “Did you know he was coming over?”

“No, I had no idea. We were supposed to hang out tonight, but he’s having dinner with Em’s parents, her brother, and her sister-in-law. So, he came over to show me the stuff the realtor had sent him.”

Her eyes lit up. “I didn’t know you were looking. Anything good?”

“Eh. It’s okay. We’ll see. We’re just getting started.”

“True.” She sat up and swung her legs to the floor. “So, what are you going to do tonight while I’m at the party?”

I shrugged and ran my fingers through Rayne’s hair. “Maybe go visit my mom. I haven’t seen her in a while.”

She turned sideways. “Why’s that?”

“You, for one,” I joked. “But also, she and her new husband have been traveling a lot.”

“Good for her.” She looked down. “Can I ask a question without freaking you out?”

My eyebrow lifted. “Not a great way to start, but I’ll do my best.”

“Do you think you’re afraid of commitment because your dad left your mom when you were little?”

She jumped when I laughed.

“Okay, not the reaction I was expecting. I thought you were going to read too much into my question and think I wanted to be with you or something.”

I smirked. “But you do want to be with me.”

She tsked. “You know what I mean.”
