“There’s a reason I have random hookups and a list of women I can call to sleep with, and it’s not just because I like control. It’s because I like sex. A lot. And if you’re going to withhold it from me, then I can’t do this. I’m not going to be fisting it several times a week because you’re unavailable.”

I licked my lips. Not only did I not want to lose the opportunity to see if sex with Cade could be as good as third base had been last night, but I also really wanted him to teach me to be a better lover. I wanted to give him what he had given me in the entryway of my house.

“What about work?”

He chuckled. “I’m not going to fuck you in front of your coworkers or anything like that.”

When he said it out loud, I had to laugh.

“I’m sure you have a perfectly good restroom I can take you to, where I can bend you over.” His brow furrowed, as if that gave him a thought. “You might need to wear only skirts to work from now on.”

I couldn’t tell if he was serious. My brother’s best friend, Cade, was a jokester. But sexy Cade was a dirty talker who could make a sex worker blush.

“What about my period?”

“You get two days.”

“Two days?” I squeaked. “But it usually lasts four.”

“Is it bad all four?”

“Well…no.”

“Then, you get two days.” He tapped his pointer fingers together. “You said you were on the pill?”

“Yes.”

“When you get to your fourth week, I want you to skip it and start your new pack. Then, you don’t have to worry about your period.”

“Don’t you mean, you don’t have to worry?”

He smirked. “I’m not the one who’s worried.”

He was right. He didn’t seem to care. I did.

“Who are you?” I asked. I almost felt like I was having lunch with a stranger.

He threw his head back and laughed. Picking up my hand, he said, “Now, you see why I told you no.”

“Hmm.”

“Having second thoughts?”

Yes. “No.” Not really anyway.

“You’ll get used to me.”

“If you say so.”

“Never been with someone bossy in the bedroom?”

I had to give it serious consideration. “I definitely had some guys who liked to be in charge and others who would rather me be in charge, but nothing like you were last night.”

“And what about you? Do you like to be in charge?”

That was an easy question. “No.”

He grinned.
