Swag again looked excited. “Invisibility, cool.”

Bullfrog scoffed at him. “Still being alive...Cool.”

Swag ignored him.

Rissa waved her hand and the door opened.

They all stepped out as the air outside felt stiflingly hot.

Amira gasped as she adjusted to the difference. The heat of the land that she had grown accustomed to, now seemed to be so harsh. The mountain air had been so cool and sweet and now normalcy seemed like such a change for her.

“Wow, what kind of central air did that mountain have?” Steel commented on the abrupt shift.

The other men nodded, but everyone remained silent.

For Amira, the sound of heartbeats became louder and louder as they walked toward the clubhouse.

Chapter Nine

When they arrived, there was a whole group standing there, waiting for them.

The clubhouse door was open as Captain and Viper stood there with rifles in their hands.

“What are you people doing here?” Captain shouted out to the small group.

As they all stood there, Luther looked around and was happy to see his family, his father, and his brothers.

“We were called here by our Shaman,” his father, Gabriel, told him. He then paused to stare at the man’s cut. “Doesn’t my son Luther also live here?” Gabriel looked up at the roof and saw several men standing there with rifles in their hands. “Did we interrupt something here, boys?”

“Yeah, you kinda did,” Captain replied.

Viper looked around and said, “Holy shit how many of you are there?”

Gabreil looked around as well and saw more of the People arriving. He turned back to Captain and Viper. “Tell us what we need to do.”

“Hell, don’t be asking us,” Captain snapped at him as he shook his head. “We don’t have any idea why you are even here.”

Luther glanced over at Rissa.

She gave him a nod.

He and the others moved closer to the door and when they entered, they became visible.

The sight of him, just appearing suddenly, startled Captain, Viper and his father.

Viper actually jumped to the side. “The fuck?”

Swag and Bullfrog chuckled.

Viper then looked around to try to locate them. “I don’t like this shit. Where the hell are you, Bullfrog?”

Bullfrog stood still. “How did you know it was me?”

Captain and Viper kept searching around only to see the strangers there.

“What the hell, Bull?” Viper exclaimed. “We would know that croaking laugh of yours anywhere. ”

“Yeah and Swag has this annoying wheeze when he laughs,” Captain added.
