Kinsen frowned when Amira began to speak. He was about to say something but Trent clamped his hand over his mouth. Kinsen growled at him.

Trent nodded at Amira and whispered, “Look. Look at her.”

Kinsen turned his head and his eyes widened at the sight of her.

Amira had picked up a soft blue glow that shone around her body as she began to chant. Then she stopped and seemed to be listening to something only she could hear. This went on for some time and then the blue glow began to fade.

The light in the room then came on.

Kinsen and the guys all leaned forward to look up the stairs. The door remained closed.

After a moment or so, Amira finally opened her eyes and turned her head to stare at them. “There is more trouble coming.”

“Now what?” Kinsen groaned.

Jacks nodded. “Isn’t it enough, being in this hellhole while waiting for a mountain to show while an MC plots to get information out of us? Then at the same time, your grandad and father are hunting for you. And maybe some thugs are hunting for them, all leading to a mountain only you can find?” He took a deep breath after that mouthful.

Trent stared at him almost without blinking. “Are you hiding coffee beans in your pocket or something?”

Kinsen popped Jacks on the back of the head with his palm.

“Owww...” Jacks rubbed at the spot.

Amira shook her head. “My grandmother knows where I am and she’s coming for me. She also knows Milo is in the area again.” Amira shook her head. “She is not a happy woman. And I have a feeling this time, Milo is not going to escape her wrath.”

“Sucks to be him then, don’t it?’ Jacks said. “But a better man, he will never be. I just hope she doesn’t spill her wrath on everyone.”

Amira nodded her head. “Milo Wicks is finally gonna get what he deserves and we get front row seats to his destruction.”

“That could be fucking glorious or a total disaster,” Kinsen told her.

“Did she say when she would get here?” Trent asked.

Amira shook her head. “She only said she was coming.”

Jacks looked around the cell area. “Well, let’s hope she gets here soon, this MC’s accommodations aren’t fit for staying in. Like a bad roach motel where they charge by the hour and if you shined one of those ultra violet light over everything?” He shivered visibly. “I bet you would lose your lunch.”

Trent kept shaking his head at his brother’s ranting. “Well, we don’t have a choice but to stay with them at the moment.”

“They think they can break us, but they have no idea just who we really are.” Amira shrugged. Looking around her cell, she had to say, “But this isn’t so bad now that I think about it. I grew up in worse.”

All three men stared at her.

Back in the main room, Luther shook his head. Looking at his men he said, “Just what the hell is going on around here anyway?” He began to pace. “I mean sweet Jesus, first we find some low life trespassing and we tell him to get lost then we find the girl trespassing and we tell her to go away. But she comes back and won’t tell us why she’s here and she brought three more people with her too! Then this bozo comes looking for her. He’s all mouthy and a fucking waste of our time. Finally, she tells us about how her dad was in with loansharks and they might come here looking for him because she knows he isn’t dead like everyone seems to think. Then on top of all that, she announces that her grandmother is coming back and her dad and maybe her granddad might feel her wrath. Wow, just fucking wow. Who is this woman anyway and what secrets does she have that could come back to bite us in the ass?”

Diesel snorted and interrupted his spiraled rant, “We got something else to think about boss.”

“Man, what the hell could that be?” Luther turned to look at his enforcer incredulously.

“What about what she did to Steel?” Diesel stared back at him. “Man, no one can push him an inch without a fucking bull dozer.”

Swag shook his head. “Yeah, that wasn’t good...not good at all.”

Luther swiveled around to glare at his IT man. “What isn’t good?”

Swag looked up at him. “Well, you remember what I said about her grandmother being a shaman or like a medicine woman? Some people said she had mystical powers and they all left her alone because they were afraid of her.” He shrugged. “I took what they said with a grain of salt but the old man called her a half breed. What did he mean by that? Like the stuff, we saw her do today? And can she do more?”

“Yeah and that’s another thing,” Diesel spoke up. “I fucking locked those cells. You all know I don’t slouch.”
