They all turned their heads when they heard this. None of them had heard her laugh since they’d met her.

The lights overhead flickered and a few blew their bulbs.

The men all ducked and jumped, except for Luther.

He stood rooted to the spot as he stared at Amira.

Conclusion

“What the fuck was that?” Diesel exclaimed as he stared up at the ceiling. “A power surge or something?”

Steel looked around. “I don’t think there’s any storms near?”

“There isn’t,” Rissa told them. “I must go now, I have a caravan waiting.”

“A...what?” Diesel asked her while looking perplexed.

She smiled and waved her hand at him. “Come, I will show you.”

Diesel looked at his Prez. “You think it’s safe to leave the place almost unprotected?”

Luther seemed to not hear him as he still stood there.

“Boss!” Diesel called to him.

Luther turned his head and blinked at him.

“The wolves are literally licking their wounds, young man.” Rissa snickered as she moved on down the steps. “Plus, who said you would be leaving?”

Luther shook his head again to clear his mind. He realized what they were saying and didn’t feel safe either under the current circumstances. He looked over at Amira again, then opened his arm in a motion for her to go with him.

She paused and looked over at her three Were friends.

They stood with her and followed her to the door.

Luther took her hand in his and they both went out.

Diesel, Swag, Steel, Viper, Bullfrog, Scout, and Swag all followed.

The old woman used her cane to head over to the side of the clubhouse. Her men followed her and some flanked her sides.

Luther shook his head. “There’s nothing over there. We would have seen it through our windows.”

They all went around the side to the clearing there.

Moonlight fell over the area.

Diesel and the men all stopped and stared.

Steel reached up and scratched his head. “What are we looking at?”

Viper looked around. “Nothing as far as I can—?” he halted and sucked in a deep breath.

Suddenly, three RVs had appeared.

“Wow!” Swag said excitedly.

The RV’s were fairly nice. Long and lined up, one next to the other.
