“WE.” I say the word and lift my fingers in air quotes. “That’s your fucking problem Bennett, you work as a team, all the fucking time. There is no you without Mason and there’s no Mason without you. And you fucking hate that, I get it. You need to let me go before I destroy everything.”
“You know who your choice is, and you need to just say it. Let us put this whole thing behind us,” Bennett says confidently, leaning on the counter like he doesn’t have a care in the world. Mason’s fingertips flex into the skin of my hips and I realize that he’s getting worked up. Maybe if they fight each other, I can slip out without them noticing. That’s the only thing that is going to help me at this point. I need to get the fuck away from both of them and just clear my mind.
“You’re so fucking thick, Bennett,” I groan out and instantly regret my choice of words when he grins at me. “Your skull, not your shriveled up dick,” I lie, and he only laughs because he knows exactly how far inside me he’s been.
Mason lets go of my hips, but he doesn’t back away. Instead, he fishes his cellphone out of the pocket of his jeans.
“What?” he snaps, and I can hear Grey’s cranky voice even though he didn’t put it on speaker. Mason finally says, “Yeah, fine. I’ll be there as fast as I can.” He pauses again only to add, “No. He has to stay here with your cousin. She’s threatening to leave the mountain again.” Neither of them say goodbye before they end the call, which is typical of Grey and Mason, I suppose.
“Thanks for that,” I say, crossing my arms over my chest, and Mason only grins at me as he puts his phone back in his pocket. He backs away, rubbing a hand over his face before yawning. “One or both of you are getting me off this mountain by tonight.” I try to make my words sound final, like there is no negotiation, but both of their top lips twitch into a psychotic smile.
“No, we’re not,” they say at the same time and then scowl at how in sync they are with one another.
“I have to go, pretty boy needs help,” Mason says, leaning down to kiss me on the mouth much more chastely this time. It feels natural, like he’s been kissing me like this for a millennia.
“Who did he kill this time?” Bennett asks in a bored tone.
“He’s down in Arbor Ridge getting parts for a bike, fucked up some dude for brushing up against Mia,” Mason says as moves toward the door.
“Fucking sounds like something he would do,” Bennett snickers. “Everyone thinks Grey is the psycho, but Remington has zero chill.”
“Grey bottles that shit up. One day he’s going to finally snap and it's going to be catastrophic,” Mason says from the doorway, his eyes finding mine once more. I decide to fuck with him the same way he fucked with me by being gentle.
I start to lift his shirt up slowly off my body. My legs are still slightly spread, and my nipples are hard from the coolness of the cabin and being so close to Mason. “You might need this.” I toss it at him, but he catches it in one hand and chucks it back at me without any forethought.
“Keep it. I’m going to fuck you while you’re wearing it when I get home.” With those parting words, Mason stomps down the hallway and out of my view.
My smirk falls when I see the absolute hunger in Bennett’s eyes as he takes in my naked body. I move to slip the shirt back over me, but he’ll have none of that.
“Don’t you fucking dare,” he says, but he doesn’t move toward me. Instead, he heads over to the oversized bathtub and turns it on. He looks at me over his shoulder as he tests the water on the back of his hand.
“I don’t want to take a bath, I want…”
“I don’t care,” he says simply, and I can tell he means it.
“Bennett, I…”
“You can’t choose between us, then you can’t choose anything. You need a bath or you’re going to be fucking sore. We put you through—”
“I was there. I know what we did.”
“Good, then we’re on the same page.” He rights his posture and slips his navy t-shirt over his head and starts undoing his jeans.
“If you think I’m going to fuck you again, you’re insane,” I hop off the counter, Mason’s t-shirt still held in my hand.
“Obviously, aren’t all of us Ravens psychotic in one way or another?” He stalks over toward me, completely naked, and I can’t deny how impossibly perfect he looks. Built like a sculpture and face like a Greek god, yet mean as hell. “Drop it,” he demands, pushing his brother’s shirt out of my hands and then reaching up to grab a lock of my red hair between his fingers.
“I want to leave,” I tell him again.
“And I want you to tell my brother that my cock is the only one you want buried inside of you, but we can’t always have what we want, now can we?” Bennett gives me a tight smile and I know that look. He’s raging on the inside right now, and I suspect it has everything to do with the way Mason was gently kissing me when he walked in on us. I think it would have less effect on Bennett if he’d walked in on Mason holding me down on the tile floor and fucking me until my pussy began convulsing on his dick. Fake or not, those kisses were extremely intimate, and it’s gotten under his skin in a way I didn’t expect.
“You first,” I change the subject, gesturing toward the water.
Bennett doesn’t take the bait, instead he picks me up and lowers me into the warm water and reaches for a bar of soap. “Wash yourself. You smell like him,” he demands, reaching out to wrap his hand around my throat. “I’m not fucking around, Tessa. I don’t want to smell him while I’m fucking your sweet cunt.” I swallow hard and do as he tells me. I rub the bar of soap over my collarbones, down my arms and then over my breasts. I splash a little water up and rub the soap in. His grip tightens when I rub over my breasts. “Pinch your nipples.” I do as he asks, pulling enough that my tits bounce when I let go. “Fuck, you’re beautiful,” he says it so quietly that I almost feel like he didn’t mean for me to hear how reverently it came out.
I finish rinsing off the soap and I think he’s going to let me go, but he pulls me to stand up and lowers his head to suck on one of my nipples, his other hand coming up to grope my other breast. I let my eyes close and breathe this softer side of Bennett Slade all the way in because I know it’s a façade and it won’t last long when he realizes it isn’t going to sway my decision.
They either settle for sharing me or I’m out of Hollow Hill by tonight.
