“Good. Then offer yourself to me. Face down on the desk,” he commands. “Arms either side of the table and spread your legs.”
I do as he orders. I know he needs this. To be in control. To punish me for leaving.
The table is cool against my stomach from where Riley’s t-shirt lays bunched up above my breasts. I can hear the rustle of leather as he unfastens his belt and the sound of his zipper lowering. I hold my breath in anticipation, waiting for him.
“Put your hands behind your back.”
I lean forward, putting my full weight against the table as I feel his belt pull my wrists tightly behind me.
“Good girl. Now the only sound I want to hear from your lips is my name. I'm going to fuck you deep down to your soul,” he growls. “Are you ready to be punished, little wolf?”
“Yes. Yes!” I cry out as he enters me with one deep thrust. I can feel him everywhere. I can feel him invading my senses, lighting me up from the inside.
“Please.” I plead begging him to give me my release this time.
“Tell me who you need. Tell me that you won't run from me again? Say it, Lei.”
“Corbin,” I shout. “You. It's you. I won’t run!” I cry out.
“Right answer.” he growls before giving me exactly what I need as I cum hard around him.
Chapter Twelve
CORBIN
Fuck.I slam my laptop shut.
I’d spent the last few hours searching through the security tapes and nothing. I still had no idea how Xan could have entered the grounds. Even if Xan had scoured the outside wall there were still plenty of hidden cameras that should have caught his movements before he reached the front door. Unless, someone inside had already warned him.
Finally, the smell of cheap perfume hits my nose as I look up to see Keisha enter my office.
“You wanted to see me,” she smiles, taking the seat across from me. “Is this about the mating? Are we bringing it forward?” She smiles happily.
“No. It's not about the mating.” I shake my head.
“But it's still going ahead, isn’t it?”
“Yes.” I lie knowing that if I ever wanted her to tell me the truth, I needed her to believe it.
“Then—”
“Why didn’t you tell me that you and Lei had kept in touch?” I cut her off. “You know Riley and I were searching for her.” I ask as I watch her fidget in the chair.
“She left you. Your father said it would be for the best if you moved on.”
“But that still doesn’t answer my question. You were never friends. You’ve spent every minute since she’s arrived back home spreading your lies. So, why did you keep in touch with a traitor?”
“Your father—”
“My father wanted nothing to do with her. Try again.” I growl.
I can hear her heart beat faster against her chest as she looks away. “Fine. The truth. I wanted to make sure she never came back. You deserved better, Corbin. Did you know she was also sleeping with your best friend?”
“What?” I frown, wondering how she knew about Lei and Riley. They had always been careful about their relationship around the pack. We all hated it, but I knew my father would never agree to let us mate if he knew the truth.
“It’s true. I saw them together. How would it look for the future alphas mate to be sleeping around. You'd be a laughing stock. I was trying to protect you. Protect the pack.”
“I want you to stop spreading your lies about Lei around the pack.” I growl menacingly.
