Page 16 of Heat Haven Holidays

There is no bitching about taking the family photo. The idea of having a Christmas photo with my pack and our children every year actually brings me joy, if anything. The idea of being able to look back and treasure these moments forever.

Emily has the baby, so I pick up Binx and bring him to my chest. Kenji has his arm around Freddie, bringing him close, and Dion has an arm around my shoulder and Emily’s waist.

The phone’s timer counts down and we all smile.

Dion grabs the phone, and we all look at the picture together. The true essence of Christmas joy captured on one small screen.

I pull Emily and Addie down on the couch with me. Kissing the side of Emily’s head and stroking Addie’s soft hair.

“This is the best Christmas ever,” I say to Emily softly so no one else can hear.

Her big, expressive eyes take in my face as she smiles. “It is, isn’t it?”

I cup her jaw and kiss her lips gently. “Merry Christmas, honey.”

She kisses me back. “Merry Christmas, Griff.”

Omega's Obsession – Pack Sørensen

Liv's pack has a surprise planned for her this holiday. Seems like pack Sørensen is heating things up this holiday.

Liv

“Wherearethey?”Imutter to myself as I stick my head into the opening of the attic. “Princess Di, I know you know where the presents are.”

My wiener dog stares at me in confusion and I huff in annoyance. I’ve been searching for my Christmas gifts for days. Deep down, I know that it’s not the right thing to do, but I just can’t seem to help myself. I need to know what they have planned. It’s not even that I want anything specifically.

Okay, that’s a lie. I really want a ring. My bond marks are everything, and I wear them with pride. But I would be lying if watching Cami get engaged and married didn’t stir something inside of me. Not that I need the government in our business. I just simply think that an enormously large ring on my finger would help everyone within a mile radius know that I’m a taken woman.

My bond marks mean more to me than a ring ever will, but I am who I am, and I need the world to know I belong to them. Even if none of my bonds let me be even an arms width away from them.

I suppose my pack knows me well enough by now that even if they got me a ring, they wouldn’t just leave it sitting around the house. “Windsor, if I find out you knew what they got me for Christmas and didn’t tell me, I’m going to be gravely disappointed,” I say to my English bulldog. He just continues to breathe heavily through his mouth and my hoard of pups follows me throughout the house.

I hear the front door shut and I hurry through the hallway to greet whoever just came home. Once I get to the foyer, I see Dean taking off his jacket and storing his shoes in the coat closet. He shakes some snowflakes out of his dark hair and I beam wildly at him. How does he keep getting better looking? I didn’t think it was possible that I could love him any more than I already do. But damn, it seems like every week he just gets more attractive and I want to do dirty nasty things to the man.

“Hey, baby,” he says before looking up. Once his eyes meet mine, they widen. “What are you wearing, Livy?”

“It’s my new Christmas sweater,” I say.

“I can see that. Why does it have our faces on top of reindeer bodies?”

“Because it’s cute.” He takes a few steps toward me and his hands grab onto my hips and he kisses the crown of my head.

“You got us all matching ones, didn’t you?”

“Of course I did.”

“Of course you did,” he repeats as he smiles down at me and our lips meet in a tender kiss. “Are Grayson and River home?”

“Not yet. They should be home soon, though.”

“Good.” He smirks, and I know that smirk. He’s hiding something from me.

“What are you all up to?” I ask.

“Why do we have to be up to something?”
