“Have fun! Oh, and tell the guys you know an awesome apprentice that can tattoo them for free!” Mira shouted.

After saying goodbye to everyone, Nora followed Cat outside.

“Thanks, sis,” Nora said after closing the front door behind her.

“You know things are pretty bad inside when evenyoulook forward to head over to the clubhouse,” Cat said with a chuckle.

“I’m only going because I know that creep is banned.”

“Thanks to Demon. I still have to thank him properly,” Cat said to herself with a cheeky grin.

Nora held her step on her way to Devlin’s parked truck. “Cat…”

“Me too.” Devlin glanced over his shoulder, checking traffic before pulling away.

“How are things at the club?” Nora asked.

Cat could tell that her brother was nervous since he took a moment too long to respond.

“Fine! All good.”

Cat and Nora shared a glance as they both picked up on something being off.

“What’s up, Dev? Just spit it out,” Cat said.

Devlin shrugged. “I just can’t believe my baby sisters turned eighteen today.”

“That’s not what’s bothering you.”

Devlin locked eyes with Cat in the rearview mirror. “No, it’s not.”

“Will that creep be there?” Nora asked.

“No, don’t worry. He’ll never set foot on our compound ever again. I don’t even think he can walk after—”
