Page 48 of Chill’s Chance

“Fuck, I’m coming.” I shout out just as she clamps down on me and I feel her channel fluttering and convulsing through her orgasm. I shoot hot cum into her womb, hoping to plant my seed. The thought of her round with my child has my dick spasming again. “Fuck!” I mutter before collapsing on Chill. Kissing her hard, I brush the hair from her face. “Every single time. I swear is better than the last.” She grins as I kiss her again and pull out.

I grab a washcloth to clean us both up before gathering her in my arms to sleep.

My military training kicks in when my alarm goes off. I only managed three hours of sleep, but it’s enough to get my ass in gear. I grab the biggest to-go cup of coffee I can find and take my spot in the guardhouse. From what the other prospects have said, guard duty is tough only because it’s boring as fuck. And I soon find out that they weren’t kidding. Nothing happens for the first two hours and I resent the need for my ass to be out here instead of in bed with Chill, but I shrug it off. This is all part of the dues that I need to pay. I owe the Demon Dawgs and Puma so much.

I heard the guys talking about having Church at ten, so I don’t expect to see any movement until later, but at eight Sterling drives up. He’s smiling as he rolls down the window. “So you really are a prospect now?” He asks me and I laugh.

“I am. Figured this was a good bet after leaving the corps.” I tell him.

“Yeah, Puma has a good thing going here. Can’t say I’m thrilled with everything they do, but I’ll deal with it. I have to if I want Viper in my life.”

“She’s a good person.”

“She is.” Sterling says, before getting serious. “You served under Colonel Patterson, didn’t you?”

I nod. “Yeah, he was my CO. Why?”

“Have you seen him or talked with him recently?”

“I haven’t talked to him since he agreed to give me an honorable discharge so I can take care of my son. Why?” That isn’t a lie. I haven’t spoken with the colonel, just punched him. I plan on saying plenty to him before we take him out.

“He’s gone missing. Seems he’s wanted for questioning concerning an at attack on a soldier under his command. Got word that they suspect two of his Marines as well. Simon Billet and Raymond Abbott. Do you know either of them?”

“I served with them. They’re both assholes, so I’m not surprised. They were the types who felt threatened by women.” I tell him.

“Did Chill serve with them?” He asks, and I consider my response.

I want to say no, to protect Chill, but I also know that lying won’t help her. It wouldn’t take much for the detective to discover that they served together, albeit briefly.

“We were all serving together when Chill joined our unit.” I admit. “She met them. Why?”

“Just curious.” He responds. “I don’t know how you feel about rapists, but I think our justice system doesn’t punish them enough.” He waves at me as he leaves. I stare after him.

What the fuck? If I didn’t know better, I’d assume he’s aware of who we have in The Pit and that he’s fine with the punishment Chill will dish out.

Shortly after ten, Dice walks up to the guardhouse.

“I thought you were all having Church.”

“They are. I’m heading out with Avery to see if we can catch up to a loan shark who might be the guy who killed Nicole.” He turns to wave at Avery, who has come out of the clubhouse, and heads to her car. “Max is coming to relieve you once Church ends. You need to be with Chill when they take out those bastards.”

“I thought they were voting on whether to kill them or hand them over to the authorities?” I ask because I had heard a few of the guys talking while I was cleaning up. The thought of not killing them pissed me off, but I knew as a prospect, my two cents wasn’t worth, well, two cents. Part of me wonders if the guys don’t understand how rape tears apart a woman’s soul. Men have become desensitized to the term and no longer find it abhorrent. I wonder if Detective Springer has a better understanding than a bunch of bikers.

“They’re voting, but I know the decision will be to gut them. There isn’t a member in there who doesn’t feel like they deserve it.” He says. “Chill’s a tough bitch, but these guys hurt her. Killing them may close the wound, or it may rip open the sutures. I don’t know. Which is why you need to be there for her.”

I nod in silent agreement as I chastise myself for jumping to conclusions. Dice gets it. He understands how Chill suffered at their hands and he wants justice for her. He wants her to regain the pieces of herself that they stole from her. I just hope the rest of guys think the same, because I don’t think Chill will ever have real peace until she ends those bastards.

A few minutes after eleven, I see Max step outside and head my way. “Church is done. They want you to join them in The Pit.” He says. I want to leave and find Chill, but I can’t ignore the anxiety rolling off my fellow prospect.

“What’s wrong?” I ask him.

He shrugs. “Just worried about Viper. I think Chill is going to have her help take those guys out. I don’t like it.”

“You don’t think she’s ready?” I ask. “Or are you worried about what killing a man will do to her?”

“Both.” He admits before rubbing his hand over his face. “Shit, I know I’m being overprotective and a hypocritical ass. But she’s my sister.”

“I get it. I can talk to Chill, see if she’ll let me fill in for Viper.”
