“We understand Bree.We do not nor would we ever see you as such,” Elias consoled me as he held me close to him.

Drake watched Elias hold me for a few seconds before he stated, “Bree, we have something we need to tell you.” Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Drake went over and answered the door to find one of his guards. They talked for a few minutes in the hallway. When he came back in, he announced that he needed to leave immediately to take care of a matter back home.

CHAPTER 9

Before Elias’s Week

I got up from Elias’s lap and went over tell Drake goodbye. Drake must have sensed me behind him because he turned around and scooped me up. I giggled at him scooping me up so quickly and gently. “I’m going to miss you, but then you were going to be with Elias next week anyway. Behave yourself when your with him. I’ll see you in a week. Okay?” Drake cheerfully said before he kissed me passionately.

“I’ll behave. Be careful and be safe. I’ll see you soon,” I exclaimed when we parted from our kiss.

“Eli, take good care of her. I’ll see you in a week,” Drakecalled out as he shook his hand after putting me down. “Don’t leave her alone. Keep her safe.”

“I’ll keep her safe. You have my word. Stay safe,” Elias replied to Drake beforeDrake gave me one final kiss before he walked out the door.

Elias came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He held me for a few minutes before he stated, “Let’s get you settled. Do you want to go to bed, or do you want to watch TV or a movie?”

“I don’t know. What time is it?” I inquired as I turned around in his hold, so I was facing him.

“It’s still early. It’s around8:15 I think,” he replied with a wolfish grin.

“How about we get comfortable on the couch and watch a movie?I’ll even let you pick it as long as it is not a horror movie, I’m okay with it,” I announced with a mischievous grin of my own.

“Movie it is then. Where are your movies?” he inquired as he started to look around for them.

“They arein the nook under the TV. The DVD player is there as well. Do you want something to drink? I can get it while you look for a movie,” I noted as he looked quite pleased with himself.

“Just water. Thank you,” he stated as he went over to the TV and bent down to look for the movie he wanted.

“Be right back.After you choose a movie, you can get comfortable as well. I’m in my pajamas. You can put yours on as well,” I stated over my shoulder as I entered the kitchen for our water.

“That sounds like a plan. Here’s a good movie. I haven’t seen this in a long time. Let me put this in and then I’ll get comfortable,” he beamed as he jumped up and went to change his clothes.

When he came back into the living room, he had on a pair ofbasketball shorts. That’s all. Lord help me. I was staring at a wall of muscles. He was absolutely handsome. Sigh. He strolled over to the couch and sat down next to me with a huge smile on his handsome face.

“Are you ready to watch the movie? Or do you want to just snuggle on the couch?” he questioned me with a wolfish grin on his face.

“Depends on what movie you put in?” I replied as Isnuggled closer to him on the couch.

“Well, Ithought we could watch action movie, ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’ or ‘Knives Out’. What do you think?” he speculated as he looked at me for an answer.

As I’m mulling over the choices, Elias turns theTV on and the beginning ofKnives Outbegins. I started laughing because I was going to choose that one overThe Hitman’s Bodyguard. I moved closer to Elias and snuggled into his side. Elias must have liked that because he wrapped his arms around me and sighed deeply.

We watched the moviewrapped in each other’s arms. By the end of the movie, I was sound asleep. The sound of his heartbeat lulled me into a deep sleep. Elias turned the TV off. He picked me up and carried me into my bedroom. He gently laid me in my bed. Without a second thought, he slid into the bed next to me. He once again wrapped his arms around me and sighed deeply. Then, he went to sleep with me securely in his arms.

We awoke to analarm blaring around 6:30 AM. I have no idea where it was, but it had to be turned off. I groaned as I tried to move out of Elias’s arms. He wasn’t letting me go to find the blaring alarm.

“Where do you think you’re going?” he asked as hecupped my cheek. “Good morning, Bree”

“I thought I would go find the alarm and turn it off. Good morning, Elias. How did you sleep last night?” I whispered as I brought my left hand up to cup his cheek.

“I slept very well with you in my arms. I like having you sleep next to me. You are very comfortable. Come here beautiful.” Elias mewled as he leaned down and kissed me good morning.

The kiss went from sweet and innocent to passionate in0.6 seconds flat. Our tongues danced together in a passionate, deep kiss. I couldn’t help the moan during the kiss. The kiss was just so good. When we separated, he placed his forehead on my forehead while we gathered our breaths. We were both panting heavily. We didn’t take our eyes off each other. We each searched each other’s eyes to see what the other wanted from the other.

Ibrought him back down for another kiss. I think I surprised him by initiating the kiss. He took the initiative and brought his hands around me to my back. He then proceeded to move them up and down towards my ass. Once he found my ass, he began to caress and knead it. The moaning and low growls were becoming more prominent. He was becoming more and more aroused. I needed to stop this quick.

“Elias… Elias, stop playing with my ass. Please,” I pleaded as I looked in his beautiful forest, green eyes.
