“Let’s go back into the dance.Hmm? Maybe get something to drink,” I giggled as we walked back into the danced with his arm securely wrapped around my waist.

He walked me to my seat and asked me what I would like to drink. Ijust wanted water, nothing more. He scurried off to get the water much to the amusement of my teammates. When he came back, he claimed the chair next to me. He placed his hand on my thigh. As the evening progressed, the conversation centered around our plans for departure. Alpha Drake asked me to stay an extra day or two, but I told him it wasn’t up to me. With that, he said, hold on and went to talk to Alpha Bennett.

He came back about ten minutes later and announced to me that I was allowed to stay an extra day with him. Then I was expected to arrive with him the following day for a banquet in my honor as a celebration of my win at the tournament. I looked over at my dad who was beaming at me. All I could do was shake my head. I was also informed that after everyone’s departure tomorrow I would be moved into the pack house into a room on the Alpha floor. When I started to argue, he simply kissed me.

“When you start to argue with me, I’m going to kiss you,” he explained with laughter in his voice.

“I wasn’t going to argue. I was going to point out, that I am not of alpha blood, I am of beta blood. I cannotstay on the alpha floor,” I stressed to him.

“You can be on the alpha floor if say so, because I’m the alpha,” hereplied.

Well, okaythen. Never mind. He won that debate. We decided to call it a night. I was tired. It had been a long day for me. He walked me back to my room. I guess he forgot he was supposed to be taking it easy on me because that goodnight kiss was, Wow! He had my back against the door. His lips crashed into mine. There was an urgency and passion that wasn’t there before. He swept his tongue across the bottom of my lips for entry. I granted him entry. In one swift movement, he entered my mouth. He tasted so sweet. I couldn’t get enough of him. I wanted more. I moaned as I threaded my fingers in his silky hair. His left hand went behind my neck and his right went to my ass. He caressed my ass as he kissed me. My free hand was wrapped around his torso. I felt his marvelous muscles. Oh, I couldn’t get enough of him.

We broke apart eachbreathing deeply. He put his forehead on my forehead. He looked into my eyes and said, “Wow, that was wow!”

“Uh-huh. You took the words right out of my mouth. Wow!” I replied as I continued to stare into his emerald, green eyes. “Good night, Drake. I’ll see you in the morning.”

“Good night, Bree.See you in the morning,” he replied not releasing me from his hold.

We held each other for a few more seconds before he let go and I went into my room. I managed to get undressed and find my way to the bathroom. I had to wash my face and brush my teeth. I couldn’t believe all the things that happened tonight. I officially have a boyfriend. How am I going to handle all of this? I put my pajamas on and slowly got into bed. I was still on cloud nine, but I was exhausted. No sooner had I laid down, than I was asleep.

Before I knew it, I heard alarms blaring. What in the world. I looked at the clock on the nightstand and it read 7 AM. Really? I felt like I just went to sleep. I didn’t feel rested at all. I knew I had to get up because I had to see my pack off before they left, and we were supposed to have breakfast together. I made my way to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, pulled it back into a ponytail at the nape of my neck, put on some comfortable jeans, and a blouse. Then, I went in search of my pack and teammates. I caught up with them and we had a great breakfast together.

Before they left to return to our territory, Alpha Bennett reminded me that we were going to have a banquet in two days to honor my championship at the tournament. I needed to be back by then. I promised I would be. Dad and Tom made sure to give me hugs before they left and to make sure that Alpha Drake knew I needed to be back by tomorrow afternoon. I stood next to Alpha Drake as we waved goodbye to everyone. It felt weird watching everyone leave and not going with them.

Once they were out of sight, Alpha Drake turned to mewith a devilish smirk. “So, what would you like to do now?” he asked with a hint of mischief in his eyes.

“How about a tour?” I replied with my hands behind my back twisting my hips back and forth like a little child.

Drake chuckled as he watchedme standing there. “I think I can do that,” he answered me as he held out his hand for me to take.

I took his handas we started walking away from the arena area towards the center of his territory. The houses and shops in his town were clean and modern looking. I was impressed with the playground and the recreation center for the pups. We came across a little girl who was crying. Her mother was having a hard time calming her down. I approached, knelt down in front of her, and asked her, “What’s wrong?”

“I fell down and hurt my hands,” the little girl wailed.

“May I take a look?” I inquired as Ilooked at her and her mother.

The little girl shook her head yes and her motherreplied, “Yes.”

“What’s your name,” I asked her as I looked at her hands.

“Lena,” sobbed the little girl as I brushed the dirtoff her hands.

“That’s a very pretty name. My name is Breonna. But you can call me, Bree,” I told her.“Now, your hands look good. Do they hurt?”

“Yes,” she saidas she continued to cry.

“I was told by my nana,if you kiss it, it will make it feel better. Do you want me to kiss it and make it them feel better?” I asked her.

“Yes ma’am,” she answered me with a look of uncertainty on her face.

“Okay, nowlet me see your hands,” I replied. I kissed each of the palms of her hands and put the palms together. “Now, they are sealed. Do they feel better Lena?” I asked her holding her hands together.

“Yes ma’am. They feel better. Thank you,” she chirped as she ran to her mother.

I stood up andDrake was instantly at my side. “That was adorable. You’d make a great mother Bree,” he suggested as the mother walked up to us.

She bowed to Drake and said, “Thank you for helping me with Lena. She can be a handful. May I use that kiss and make it better?”
