“My pleasure sir.Anytime I can be of service, just let me know. Now, let’s shower and get ready for our day, hmm?” I softly stated as I took the washcloth and lathered it up.

I began to wash up when Drake replied, “Yes ma’am. I promise to behave. Tonight, when we see each other again, I promise to take my time and make love properly to you,” exclaimed Drake as he made his way over to his shower head.

I just smiled at him as I continued my shower. Yes, I admired my handsome mate. I can never get over how lucky I am to have him as a mate. The shower ended and I entered my closet to choose an outfit for the day. I decided I needed to dress business casual, especially since I have to travel a short way to get there.

When I emerged from my closet in one of my dresses, in a pair of flats to match. Drake was nowhere to be found. I left the bedroom to see if he was in the living room or kitchen. He was gone. I found a large bouquet of red roses on the breakfast nook table. I found the card. It read. My Luna, I had to leave so I wouldn’t be late. Please forgive me for not kissing you goodbye. I promise to make it up to you later. Yours forever, Drake xoxoxo. Swoon.

Okay, now it’s official, he has definitely claimed my heart and soul. I had just enough time to make something quick for breakfast. I made some toast and grabbed some butter to put on it. I ate my toast and drank some water. I was about to head to my office when there was a knock at the door.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

I answered to door. My protection detailtold me it was time to leave. I told them to give a few minutes so I could get my things from my office, and I would be ready to leave. I left the door open so they could see what I was doing. I emerged from my office and was escorted downstairs to the awaiting SUV.

I was going toWhite River Pack to meet with Aunt Yvonne and Aunt Sophia. We were having a meeting about the upcoming Fall Festival that is supposed to be held at Aunt Yvonne pack this year. The travel time to Aunt Yvonne’s territory is roughly an hour and a half. I brought a book to read so I would not be bored.

Riding in a car has never been a favorite activity of mine.Today was no exception. By the time we got to White River’s pack house, I was feeling nauseous. Aunt Yvonne, Aunt Sophia, and Angela were waiting for me outside the pack house when I arrived. They all had huge smiles on their faces as I exited the vehicle.

“Welcome, Luna Breonna!” Aunt Yvonne gushed as she enveloped me in a bear hug.

“Luna?! Really Aunt Yvonne? What happened to just Bree?” I teased as I returned her bear hug.

“I couldn’t resist.Sorry, my love. So, how does it feel to be a Luna, Bree?” Aunt Yvonne questioned me as she released my hug so I could hug Aunt Sophia and Angela.

“Idon’t feel any different, really. It’s so good to see you, Aunt Sophia, and mom. I haven’t seen you in a while. I’ve missed you all,” I rambled on as I greeted them.

“You may not feel different, but you seem different.Being a Luna looks good on you. As does being mated does,” Angela explained as she hugged me.

“Thank you, mom. I kind of do feel different, but not really. I do have lots of questions for you all,” I exclaimed as I looked at all three women.

“Let’s go inside my office so we can have our meeting. We can also try to answer all your questions. I’m pretty sure I know most of your questions. They’re probably the ones I asked my mother about when I became mated,” explained Aunt Yvonne as we entered the pack house.

We entered Aunt Yvonne’s office and got comfortable. I must have looked pale or something because Aunt Sophia asked me if I had something to eat this morning. I told her I had toast and water due to waking up a little late, she didn’t like that.

Aunt Yvonne had somefood and snacks brought up to her office so that we could eat or rather I could eat. We talked about the Fall Festival and what needed to be done. I ate some food, but it didn’t stay down too long. My nausea came back. I ran to the bathroom and lost everything that I ate.

Aunt Yvonne made me drink water when I returned. She told me to sit down and relax. Aunt Sophia and Angela both had smirks on their faces as well. I wish I knew what was going on. Aunt Yvonne told me to let her know when I needed to use the restroom.

“Why? What’s going on?” I asked her with confusion in my voice.

“Just humor mefor a little while please,” Aunt Yvonne soothed as she decided to have a snack herself.

“All right. I will,” I replied as I took a deep breath.

We continued our conversationabout the Fall Festival. We continued until I announced thirty minutes later that I needed to use the ladies’ room. At that time, Aunt Yvonne produced a pregnancy test and told me to take it. Really?! A pregnancy test!

I knew better than to argue with Aunt Yvonne.I simply took it and went to the ladies’ room. I took the test and waited until the timer went off. I looked at the results and put the test stick back in the package. I walked out of the bathroom and went back to Aunt Yvonne’s office.

When I entered, all three of them looked at me and said, “And?”

I didn’t know what to say. I just handed the package to Aunt Yvonne and sat down. She looked at the package. She took the test stick out and read the results. Her face broke out in the biggest smile I’ve ever seen. “You’re pregnant! How wonderful!” Aunt Yvonne gushed as she hugged me.

“Yes! I knew it when she got sick!” exclaimed Angela.“Congratulations!”

“I’m so happy for you Bree!” Aunt Sophia announced as she congratulated me with ahug as well.

“Thank you. I kind of had a feeling, but I wasn’t sure. Will I still go into heat since I’m pregnant?” I inquired as I looked at my Aunts and mom.

“Some she-wolves do, but most do not. Your heat would start sometime this next week. So, time would tell. When are you going to tell Drake?” Aunt Sophia asked as she sat down to allow me time to process everything.
