“Yes, please. I would love some. I have a lot to tell you,” Iannounced over my shoulder as I entered my bedroom.

I came back to the living room five minutes later dressed in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I had my phone with me. Why, I don’t know why. Just in case I was needed. Dad and Tom were sitting there with a drink in their hand, waiting for me to sit down and tell all. I found the ice cream on the coffee table, so I picked it up along with the spoon. I found a comfortable chair to sit on and began to eat my ice cream.

“Well?What happened with Alpha Rex? What almost made you fall when you met him?” demanded dad.

“Oh that,” Isighed as I took another bite of ice cream.

“Yeah, oh that,” dadmocked.

“Well, when he walked up, I noticed his eyes. He has the same kind of eyes Andy did.It took me totally by surprise. It quite frankly almost knocked me over,” I stated as a matter of fact.

“That it did. I think everyone noticed.Exactly the same, really?” dad mused scratching his chin.

“Yes, but he seems really nice.And just now outside when Lorenzo wanted a goodnight kiss, he got in between us to protect me. I tell you dad, there’s something off about Alpha Lorenzo. I can’t put my finger on it, but I feel it,” I warned as I slowly took another bite of ice cream.

“Well, he was a pack favorite. He wowed almost everyone.Do you want me to find out what happened to his mate? I could do that for you,” Tom offered with a reassuring smile.

“That would actually be really helpful. Thank you.Dad, what’s the next move? You know I have never dated anyone thanks to mom. Now, I’m dating five Alphas. I don’t have a clue what I’m doing. What am I supposed to do?” I exclaimed as I put the ice cream down and picked up the water bottle.

“Well, we can give you advice, but we can’t choose for you. You seem to be hitting it off with Alpha Drake,” dad shared as he got up to go to the kitchen.

“What do you mean dad?” I snapped at him.

“Well,let’s just say your kisses seem to be more than just friend kisses. And I’m sure, I’m not the only one who sees how the two of you look at each other,” he replied as he returned with a full glass of whatever he was drinking.

“I must admit, I feel a connection between him and Alpha Elias.The connection isn’t as strong as it is with Drake, but it’s there.” I confessed to Tom and dad who looked wide eyed at my confession.

“Really?My sister a Luna. Who would have thunk it,” Tom exclaimed as he rose from the couch to tackle me in my chair.

“Stop! Dad! Will you tell him to stop it!” I yelled at dad who was ignoring us.

“Alright. The two of you stop it! Right now!Tom, leave your sister alone. I. Said. Leave. Your. Sister. Alone,” dad emphasized each word for him, so he heard him loud and clear.

“Alright. I was just playing. Geez. So touchy lately.You do know that I still love you, though, right?” Tom asked as he rumpled my hair like he did when we were growing up.

“Yes, I doknow you still love me. Just like I still love you. Jerk. I’m tired. I think I’m going to call it a day and go to bed since I have to be up in, oh four hours. Yay me!” I cheered as I walked over and gave dad a kiss on the cheek. “good night dad. Love you.”

“Good night, Puddin’,” dad yawned as he too started towalk towards his bedroom.

“Night, Tom. See you in a few hours,” I mumbled as I entered my bedroom.

“Night brat.Sleep fast, Tom yawned out as he walked past my bedroom on the way to his.

We didn’t get much sleep.The alarms were going off before we knew it. I was grumpy when I didn’t get enough sleep. I had a hard time opening my eyes. They felt like sandpaper. I walked into my bathroom and splashed some water on my face just to help open my eyes. It didn’t help. I turned on the shower. Thank goodness I know where everything is in my shower, I took it with my eyes closed. When I came out of the bathroom, I had to find something to wear. But what? I forgot to ask Alpha Bennett what the attire was for the day. I mink linked dad and asked him to mink link Alpha Bennett to ask him the attire for the day. I was told casual—jeans and a t-shirt would be appropriate. Really a t-shirt with Alphas.

I decided to play it safe. I went to mycloset, and I choose a blouse that would pass as casual. I didn’t want to make a fool out of myself in front of the Alphas, so I choose my best pair of jeans, the blouse, and a pair of ankle boots. I fixed my hair in a ponytail at the nape of my neck. I put on light makeup. When I stepped out of my room, I was greeted by seven sets of eyes. All of the Alphas were there with dad and Tom. I was greeted with a loud, “Good morning,” by seven chipper voices. I stopped dead in my tracks.

“Good morning to everyone. I didn’t know we were meeting up here this morning,” I announced as I wasn’t quite sure what to do. I looked at everyone and how they were dressed. They were all dressed differently. Drake and Elias were in business casual, Travis and Rex were in jeans with a button-down shirt, but Lorenzo was in jeans with a t-shirt. I was glad I decided to wear what I did. At least I looked decent to be seen with them out in public. I almost wore a dress, almost. I didn’t because I didn’t know what the plans were today.

I looked at my clothes and then back at what they were wearing. Drake seemed to sense my uneasiness because he stated, “You look very nice today, Bree. Why don’t you come and have a seat. We are waiting for Alpha Bennett and Luna Sophia before we go down to breakfast.”

“I was going to wear a dress, but I wasn’t quite sure what our plans were today.So, I decided to wear this. I hope it’s alright. I didn’t want to be too dress down,” I added looking at everyone in the room.

“Who cares what everyone thinks. As long as you are comfortable, who cares,” Lorenzo snarled looking at a couple of the Alphas.

“What did I say a few minutes ago? As long as you are in my suite, you will be civilto each other. And as long as you are around my daughter, you will be civil to each other. I don’t care that you are Alphas. She is my daughter,” dad growled at Lorenzo who looked unfazed by his comments.

I, on the other hand, lookeda little flustered. I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to handle this, but I didn’t want to have Alpha Lorenzo around. I didn’t think I could handle his aggressive behavior. I was relieved when we heard a knock on the door. My protective detail notified us that Alpha Bennett and Luna Sophia were ready for us to meet them in the dining room.
