“Sure, it’s not mine to keep. Please use it and pass it on,” I replied as Drake snaked his arm around my waist.

The mother noticed and asked, “Do you mind if I ask a question?”

“No, go right ahead,” I replied as I was curiousas to what she wanted to ask.

“Are you going to be our Luna?” she asked sheepishly with her head held low.

“You are out of line!” Drake snapped at the woman.

“Calm down, please Alpha Drake.I’m not sure. Maybe. It’s a possibility,” I said as I watched Drake’s face go from anger to joy. The woman’s face lite up as well. “I’m sorry he snapped at you,” I defended Drake to the woman.

“It’s alright. I shouldn’t have asked.I apologize for intruding Alpha, Breonna,” she said as she bowed toward us.

The woman left to rejoin her daughter. I turned toward Drake who looked a little embarrassed for snapping at the mother. “Why did you snap at her? She just was curious?” I asked him as I looked into his eyes.

“She should have known not to have asked such a personal question to her Alpha. They are told what they need to know. But you are right, I shouldn’t have snapped. I’m sorry. So, it’s a possibility that you might be my Luna? Hmm?” he exclaimed with a gleam in his eyes.

“Well, I’m dating you, aren’t I? I did say I wouldgive you a chance. So far, so good,” I announced as I scooted away from him with a smirk on my face.

“Where do you think you’re going? Hmm?” he chuckled as he reached for my hand.

“Well, I thought you were giving me a tour, butI guess I was wrong,” I giggled as he snaked his arm around me waist and brought my back to his chest. He buried his nose into my neck inhaling my scent.

“You smell so good like cherries and chocolate. I would love to place my mark right here. Just say the word,” he breathed deeply as he said this in my ear.

“Whoa, slow downthere Alpha. Remember, I’m still getting to know you,” I whispered back to him.

He growled softly at me signifying that he didn’t like me calling him ‘alpha.’ I turned and faced him. I put my hand on his chest and looked him in the eyes. “Drake, calm down. I’m pretty sure one day I will wear your markif things keep progressing the way they are now. But you need to slow down so I can catch up. Okay?” I said softly as I leaned in and softly kissed his lips.

My retort must have pleased him because his smile was dazzling. “Alright, I’ll slow down. Shall we continue our tour?” he exclaimed as he wrapped his arm around my waist once again.

“Yes, we shall. Where to next?” I giggled as I snuggled next to himas we started to walk down the street. As we continued to walk, people would bow respectfully toward Drake and raise their eyebrows at how he was holding me. Word had already spread that he had asked a girl of rank ‘to get to know him’ and maybe become his Luna. We heard whispers of approval as we walked as well as disapproval. I’m sure Drake would be addressing everyone very shortly about their comments either way.

His territory is rather larger and expansive. His town is impressive with its own hospital and school. I like the idea of pups attending their own school which takes the pressure off of them not having to try to blend in with the human population. Also, we can have training at the school campus for them.

“Would you like to go for a run, in wolf form to the lake area. I understand that you like lakes and especially waterfalls,” Drake asked with a hint of uncertainty in his voice.

“I would like that. My wolf would like to meet your wolf,” I confessed as we came to a stop at a benchwhere a satchel sat for people to use.

“Okay, we can go behind the tree line here and take our clothes off. We can place them in the satchel. I can carry them until we get to the lake,” he suggested with a hint of mischief in his emerald eyes.

“Alright, how about I go first. I’ll go and strip. I’ll have my wolf bring you my clothes after I put them in the satchel,” I chimed in with a sly smirk on my face.

“That doesn’t sound like fun to me,” teased Drake with a frown on his face.

“No, it doesn’t sound like fun, but let’sdo it anyway,” I teased with the smirk still on my face. I took the satchel from his hand and did my best runway strut toward the tree line. I knew he was watching me. I disappeared and within minutes a dark brown wolf of medium size emerged holding the satchel. I slowly approached Drake holding the satchel in my mouth. I sat down and waited for him to approach me.

“You have a beautiful wolf, Bree!” Drake cried out as he took the satchel from my mouth. He put the satchel on the ground and placed his hand under my muzzle. He looked into my light blue eyes. His other hand started to rub the fur between my ears. It felt incredible.“Your fur is so soft. Your fur is almost the same color as chocolate,” he cooed as he continued to brush and rub his hand through my fur.

I must admit, it felt incredible to have him rub me like that. I started purring. Wait, purring, don’t cat’s purr. Who cares, it felt good. He just chuckled at my purring. I whimpered when he stopped running his hand through my fur. “I have to shift so we can go down to the lake. I’ll be right back,” he whispered as he softly kissed me right above my nose. Then, he disappeared into the tree line. A few minutes later, a huge black wolf appeared carrying the satchel over his shoulder. He sat down and waited for me to approach him.

I got up and walked over to him.We sniffed we each other and then started to rub against each other to get our scents on each other. He nipped at my hind leg and bounded toward to tree line. I followed him. We ran and played until we reached the lake. It took us about an hour to get there with us playing along the way. When we finally arrived, Drake laid the satchel on the ground behind a huge tree and walked away. I shifted back and changed back into my clothes.

I brought the satchel out with me to him.I found him sitting there waiting for me. I slowly walked over to him. I affectionately rubbed the fur around his face. “You are a very handsome wolf, Drake. Why don’t you go and shift back so we can enjoy the rest of our afternoon? Hmm?” I speculated as I gently caressed the side of his head. I held the satchel out for him to take.

He went behind the same tree I came from and emerged a few minutes later. He found me admiring the waterfall and he wound his arms around my waist. “You know, I could easily get used to this,” he mused as he rested his head on top of mine.

“So could I,” I replied as I sighedwith my arms on top of his. I was enjoying the moment when my cell phone started to ring. I took it out of my pocket to see who it was. Malachi. What did he want. I had already sent him a text the night before explaining that Alpha Bennett gave me two days off and any problems were to be deferred to my dad or Tom. I declined the call and put it back in my pocket. No sooner had I put in my pocket, had it begun to ring again. Really?!
