Noah
Okay, so getting drunk and naked in a hot tub with the two men I was wildly attracted to had been a terrible idea. The heat, the booze, and all the blood rushing from my head to my hard-on had almost been enough to make me pass out.
After I managed to get inside, I took a brisk shower to cool down again. Then I collapsed onto the bed in the smaller of the two bedrooms. Now I was feeling like a complete doofus.
I’d wanted to go out there and flirt and be sexy, but who was I kidding? I had no moves. None. This was never going to work.

The sun had set by the time I woke up from an unplanned nap. I rolled out of bed and used the bathroom, then checked my reflection in the mirror over the sink. There was a crease mark on one of my cheeks, my hair was sticking up in all directions, and I was buck naked. That was when I realized my luggage was sitting just inside the front door, and the clothes I’d arrived in were out on the deck.
After I finger-combed my hair, I wrapped a towel around my hips and retrieved my luggage. Kel and Hudson were in the kitchen, and apparently they were cooking, because something smelled amazing.
I returned to the smaller bedroom and planned to join them once I got dressed. But when I unzipped my duffle bag and started pulling out some clothes, I discovered everything was wet for some reason. Then I unearthed the huge bottle of lube Timothy had given me and discovered the top had come off. I muttered, “That’s just great,” as I moved the bottle to the nightstand and wiped my hand on an already ruined T-shirt.
My underwear had been off to the side and had managed to survive lubemageddon, so I pulled on a pair of little black briefs. As I began making a pile of sticky, lubed clothes on the floor, I wondered if the cabin had a washer and dryer. Somehow, I doubted it.
That stuff had managed to soak through just about everything, layer after layer of clothing. The only shirt that was lube-free was that semi-sheer black number Timothy had sent along, since I’d stuffed it into the side of the bag. It was kind of cold in here and that was better than nothing, so I picked it up and tried stretching it. The fact that I could almost double its width seemed promising, so I worked my arm into one of the sleeves and pulled it over my head.
Then I got stuck. Really, really stuck. I managed to wedge my free hand in there, thinking that’d give me leverage, and then it got stuck, too.
As I was flailing around with the shirt over my head and one arm in the air, there was a knock on the door. I’d left it ajar, so Kel stuck his head in and said, “Hey, Noah. We heard you get up, so—” I learned Hudson was with him when they both chuckled, and Kel asked, “Need some help?”
“No. I’ve got it.”
I flailed around some more and bumped into the nightstand. My friends hurried over as Hudson said, “I don’t think you’ve got it. I think it’s got you.” I felt one of them tugging on the fabric, and then Hudson told me, “Maybe it’d be best to cut you out.”
“We can’t,” I said, as I wriggled wildly to try to get my hand free. “It belongs to Timothy, and I want to give it back to him in one piece.”
Kel asked, “Wait, Timothy your neighbor, who’s six inches shorter than you?”
Hudson finished for him. “And weighs next to nothing? Did you really think you’d fit into one of his shirts?”
“It had a lot of stretch.”
“Nothing has that much stretch,” Kel pointed out. “It’d have to be some kind of freaky space-age fabric developed by NASA or something.”
Just then, I bumped into the furniture again. Something fell with a thud, and the light filtering through the shirt got dim. When it got brighter again, that probably meant someone had returned the lamp to the nightstand. Then Kel asked, “What were you doing with a giant bottle of lube? Oh wow, anda lotof condoms.” Oh hell.
I couldn’t see Hudson, but I felt his light touch on my ribs as he said, “Hold still for a minute.” When I did as he asked, he stretched the shirt enough for me to free my hand. Then he pulled it over my head and grinned at me as he said, “Hi there.”
“Thanks for the assist,” I said, as I peeled the shirt off my arm and tossed it aside. “I had a bit of a mishap with my luggage, and this shirt was the only one that—”
“Didn’t get lubed.” Kel sounded amused. “Did you recently join Grindr and thought you’d try to get lucky on your vacation? Because all you’re going to find out here is a bear—the four-legged variety.”
“No.” I took a deep breath and admitted, “I planned on staying right here, with both of you.”
They looked surprised as my meaning sunk in. After a moment, Kel tentatively ran his hand down my arm while Hudson lightly traced my jawline. My heart started pounding as I drew them into a loose embrace.
I was so nervous as I whispered, “I’ve never done anything like this before.” It felt as brand new and unfamiliar as when I’d lost my virginity a decade ago.
“Neither have we,” Kel said, as he wrapped his arms around me, “but we love you, Noah.”
“I love you, too. Both of you.” It felt good to finally say that out loud.
When Hudson cupped my cheek, I turned my head to look at him. There was nervousness in his blue eyes, but I could see desire there, too. His lips brushed mine, and when he deepened the kiss, it took my breath away.
As soon as we parted, I turned to Kel. I had to know how seeing that had made him feel. What I discovered was the sweetest smile on his beautiful face, and love shining in his eyes. He said, “That was as amazing as I’d imagined,” before slipping his hand around the back of my neck and pulling me down to his height. Then he kissed me, and it felt so perfect, so right, just like it had when I’d kissed Hudson.
