“He can’t be this dumb. He’s doing this through one of our systems. Fuck outa here.”

“My guess is he had to use our shit to hack Dante’s schedule. Instead of getting the information and using his own computer, he stayed on ours.”

“Hold on,” I say as our car pulls up. We hop in and I pull out my phone.

“Gio,” Ny answers in a panic.

“She’s okay, baby. I took care of it.”

“Babe, Holly called, we have a problem.”

I tighten my lips. “Is Ma okay?”

“Yeah, Blake did well, and Gianni was there. He followed in his father’s footsteps. He took one for Ava. Holly is a mess, but she stitched him up.”

“Then she does like the guy.” I snort.

“He’s her husband. So yeah, she just might.”

“Che cosa?”

“You heard me. He’s her husband. Long story. You’re going to need a bottle and a comfortable chair.”

“Look, baby. I had a point in calling. Did you notice where the doxing came from?”

“That weasel Peter Hall. G, he’s not working with Riccardo. This is some stalker shit. I’m thinking his missing brother might have escalated him. Especially if he saw the pictures you sent his mom.”

“You know what to do,” I seethe.

“Wait,” Jace says quickly.

I place my phone on speaker for Ny to hear and nod for him to continue. “Our fed friend just called. Peter has been in to talk. They’re watching him now. That’s the reason he’s working from our system. He can’t do anything from his own without exposing himself.”

My mind takes off. It’s as if I’m being handed all I need on a platter. Peter will finally serve a purpose. He will be Riccardo’s final nail.

“Then let’s dump all this shit at his door. Ny, we’re on our way. Make peace now because I’m going to cross the line.”

“I’ll be packing. Ava and Holly need me.”

“That’s fine. I’ll be with Dario and Nonno. Make sure you let the master dolls know they’re moving with you. We all fly out tomorrow. The other side is the safest place for now.”

“What about Lizzy and Dante?”

“The entire family is going. Call it a family vacation. You will fly out with the team in the morning. We will follow in the evening.”

“I love you, G. Thanks for having my sister.”

“Nessun problema. In qualsiasi momento. Anch'io ti amo.”

“What now?” Jace asks.

“I finish this and finally go to meet this cousin on the other side. He married Holly. I want to make sure that shit is genuine. She’s important to Ny, not a toy for this thing.”

I close my eyes and lean my head back. “Tell Ming don’t worry about the drop. It’s time Izzy makes her appearance. She’ll need her case. It’s time Dante knows who she is.”
