Maisie

I nuzzle up against Joras’warm, comforting bulk, sighing deeply. It feels so good to be held in his powerful arms. It felt even better to ride his cock again.

I wouldn’t have cared which one of the three came to rescue me, honestly, as long as one of them did. I had begun to despair, to think that maybe I wasn’t important enough to try and find once I got myself taken captive.

“What now?” I ask. I mean what happens to me now, with their superiors and the Overseer and the auction and everything.

He of course takes me literally, as in what’s going to happen right this moment.

“Now, I’m going to do my best to recover the cave entrance, and we’re going to wait out the snowstorm until the morning. Then, we’ll try and make for my zoomer and get out of this area. Maybe. I’ll have to talk to the others and see what they think is best.”

“So Mlarx and Lurg were looking for me, too?” I ask. I can’t believe that all three of them quit their busy schedules to go and find little old me. I find it to be flattering or maybe ego boosting if you prefer.

“Yes, of course they did. Mlarx nearly lost his head, he was so upset when you went missing.”

My heart melts a little bit. Mlarx, the Grengoran who I had fought the hardest to win over was the first one to go off and try to find me when I went missing.

Which brings to mind something else, a potentially difficult subject. At first I think I won’t mention it at all tonight. I just sit in his lap and enjoy his warmth, his presence, his comforting arms around my body.

Eventually, though, it starts bouncing around inside of my head. I can’t stop thinking about it and I have to give word to my concern.

“Hey, Joras?” I ask. My voice sounds tiny and weak in the flame hued darkness of the cave.

“Yes, Maisie?” he says, his voice thick with near slumber. I feel sort of bad for waking him up now.

“Are you, um…” I clear my throat awkwardly. This is a very difficult question to ask of anyone, especially a man who I have strong feelings for. Then again, this is hardly a normal situation, any of it.

“It’s okay, Maisie. Whatever you need to say, you can say it and I won’t be angry.”

That gives me a little bit of confidence but I’m still worried.

“Um, well, you say that, but I’m not sure if you really mean it.”

“I really mean it.” He pulls away enough that we can look each other in the eyes. “I really do mean it, Maisie. Please, feel free to tell me what’s on your mind.”

“Okay,” I say, taking a deep breath and then speaking in a sudden rush. “Are you okay with sharing me? With Mlarx and Lurg, I mean.”

He draws in a deep breath of his own, and I worry that I’ve gone too far and upset him. His body tenses up somewhat, and then relaxes.

“No, to be honest, I wish I didn’t have to share you,” he replies. “However if that’s the only way I can have you, then so be it. It’s far, far better than not having you.”

I kiss him on the lips, glad to have heard it from his mouth. Then sudden inspiration strikes me.

“Will you take me to California?” I ask.

“California?” he frowns. “You mean, the former state on the west coast? Why?”

“I…have business there,” I reply cryptically. “Once that business is done, I’ll come back with you to the Vegas settlement if that’s what you want.”

“I very much want you to come stay with me. With us,” he amends.

His eyes narrow.

“It would help me agree to take you if I knew what your business was in California.”

I don’t want to tell him, not yet.

“Please, Joras,” I beg. “Please help me get to California and complete my task. Then I’m all yours. Forever.”

He opens his mouth, closes it, and then looks very thoughtful. What will he decide to do? Will he take me to California? And even if he agrees, will the other two be amenable?

I don’t know how this is going to go, and I wait with bated breath to hear his answer.
