"Ave, take a breath. Geez," Andie said, flopping down on her bed to answer her sister's questions, "No, I didn't meet anyone, I found someone."

"What? Who?"

"Mike, I found Mike."

"The green-eyed giant? How?"

"Please stop calling him that. It's a long story. I called Diane and got the name of someone he knew. Honestly, that's the least of it."

"I don't really know what to say, Andie, I mean... I'm happy for you sure, but didn't he kind of leave you high and dry?"

"I know why he left now, and why he was gone so long. Avery, I... there is something else I need to tell you."

"What is it, Andie? You're acting weird."

"Um... well, the thing is. I'm... I'm kind of pregnant."

Avery's jaw dropped open as she stared blankly at Andie. Andie didn't know what to think, but she was beginning to worry her sister was having a stroke.

"Ave?"

"Uh, ya... sorry. Wow, Andie. Pregnant?"

"Yup."

"And it's Mike's?"

"Of course it is, you know I haven't been with anyone else!"

Her sister launched herself at her, pulling Andie into a huge hug. "Oh, my god! I'm going to be the best Auntie on the face of this earth! I can't believe it, Andie, you're going to be a mom. No, wait! You already are."

Andie was so thankful her sister was happy for her. She didn't realize until that moment how nervous she really was about telling her.

"I'm so excited. Which is weird, right? I mean I should be freaking out, but I'm happy Ave. I'm really happy."

"You deserve to be happy. Oh gosh, what did Mike say when you told him?"

"Surprisingly, he took it really well. I mean, we only had one night together. I didn't really know what he would think. Yesterday when I took the pregnancy test, I had this overwhelming need to tell him before I chickened out. That's where I've been, with him."

"Andie, I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks Ave, that means a lot because I kind of have a favor to ask."

"Sure, anything."

"Do you think I could move back in? Mike keeps pushing me to move in with him, but there is no way that would work. Honestly, I've been taking on a bunch of extra hours just to make ends meet and it's killing me. I'm so dang tired all the time, I need to work a normal schedule but I don't think I can afford my place with only forty hours a week."

"I thought you would never ask," Avery said, giving her sister another quick hug. "Let's get packing!"

"No way. I'm too tired for that right now, besides, I am paid until the end of the month. Let me put my notice in and we will work out all the details. You know you are the best sister, right?"

"I know."

Mike saw his mom the second she walked into the cafe. He stood to greet her and leaned down to give her a kiss on the cheek.

As soon as Lorna settled into her seat, she started with the questions, "I want to know everything. Where did you two meet? When is she due? Oh Michael, she is so sweet. I am beyond happy for you. I can't believe you have kept her from me!"

"Okay, slow down, Andie and I still have a lot to figure out."
