Page 57 of Their Domme

Nic stilled and tilted her head, studying him like a predator assessing its prey. “Show me.”

“Excuse me?!”

“Show. Me.Now.” Nicholette raised an eyebrow, and the guy threw his hands up in the air, muttering about how she was still a pain in the ass before ordering us all to stay here.

The women watched him walk away, but as soon as he was inside, Sacha grabbed Nic and pulled her close. He fisted her hair, pulling hard enough that she was forced onto her tiptoes. Even though I’m sure it stung, she grinned up at him and leaned forward to brush her lips against his.

“You, whore, have a lot to answer for,” he threatened her.

“I look forward to it, boss,” she teased, running her hands over his chest.

“You have more to share with us,” Vas rumbled from beside them, and Nic hummed as Sacha pulled her hair tighter before slamming his lips over hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck and fell into it. They broke apart soon after, both panting hard, and he drew her even closer, burying his face in her hair as she held him.

“Why are you getting him to look up your record?”

Nicholette shifted to look at Wrenn with a serious expression. “Because mine is about a mile fucking long, not including the open investigations. Him not being able to find meat allshould be impossible.”

“A mile long, huh?” Ryan said with some amusement, making us turn around to face him. “What exactly have you been up to?”

“Flipping tricks,” she told him, not beating around the bush at all. “How do you think I met most of these people?”

“That’s not how we met!” Oli protested, sounding offended. “We were roommates, Nic.”

“And that’s not how we met either,” Sacha growled.

Nicholette rolled her eyes, but I could see the hint of a smile curling her lips. She purred as she pushed back against Sacha, pressing their bodies together, and he ran his hands down her body.

“Fine, a majority then,” Nic sighed.

Ryan shook his head and held out a sheet of paper that Nicholette took before holding it up to Sacha. He raised his eyebrows and handed it over to Oli. Taking a peek, I saw that it had Nic’s name and nothing else. No criminal record at all or even any kind of current address.

“How long is it supposed to be?”

“I think the last time it was pulled, it was around five or seven pages.” Nicholette shrugged lightly. “Either way, I need to see the house.”

“It’s a crime scene.”

“From something that happened a month ago,” Nic countered. “You can’t tell me you’re going to keep it taped off forever. I deserve to know what happened to Thomas.”

“But not your parents?”

Nicholette’s face flushed, but she met his stare with a hard one of her own. “I think they made it very clear what they thought of me the last time I was in this town. So no, I don’t.”

He sighed heavily then nodded a few times. “I’ll escort you so there aren’t any more situations to defuse.”

“That would be for the best,” Sacha muttered.

Nicholette tilted her head back, grinning at him, not the least bit sorry, and he melted, kissing her. I knew he’d have plenty to say to her later, but her being back was definitely more important than anything else. Damn, she had him wrapped around her finger. Of course, I thought it was safe to say she had usallwrapped around her fingers. I didn’t miss the way Wrenn looked away, sadness in her eyes, like she couldn’t stand to look at them.

“Stop making out in the street. Let’s get going!” Ryan yelled out, and Nic broke free, threading a hand through Sacha’s.

“He’s so bossy. Some things don’t change.” Sacha let Nic lead him and the rest of us back to our cars.

“Where’s my car, Nic?” Sacha asked.

“At the house. It’s not far from here,” Nicholette told him, then tipped her head toward the woods. “The gated neighborhood is that way, by the way. Maybe Ansel and Blake will have some luck checking it out while we’re here.”

Ansel spoke up. “Gated community?”
