Mateo: If you wanna see me naked again all you gotta do is say the word. We can dip right now and repeat the other night.
Me: So would you say this qualifies as our fifth date? Or is that also a gray area?
Mateo: I mean, we’re in the same place. Both eating. We’ve already given everyone a pretty good show. No more gray areas to worry about. But I’ll let you be the one to make that decision.
Just a handful of hours ago I wasn’t ready, but now, watching him eat and hold a conversation with his teammates as if he wasn’t replaying the night we shared, my need skyrocketed. There was no denying it. I wanted to repeat the other night. I wanted him to guide me again, instruct me in all the areas I had no clue about. I wanted to play out those dreams he’d made me relive. I wanted all of Mateo. Every inch I could get my hands on.
But I still couldn’t pull the trigger. I laid the phone on Sierra’s thigh. She glanced down. Reading the messages.
She turned to me, her eyes small, knowing slits. Just as quick as she glared at me her focus went back to the phone. Her fingers hovered over the keyboard while she contemplated what to say.
“What doyouwant?“ she leaned over to whisper.
Gulping, I nodded one time and she typed out the message.Take me home, read like a glowing neon light. Bright and buzzing with electricity it was the perfect representation of my nerves. She gave a mischievous grin and continued eating her dinner as if nothing happened.
Before I could finish sucking in a much-needed breath of air, Mateo was up and by my side. He threw some cash on both tables and pulled me behind him out of the restaurant.
Opening the door for me, I slid in and buckled my seatbelt. He ran around to his side and did the same. Less than a minute later, we drove toward his house.

Sierra:Remember to use protection. Babies are cute and all, but I’m way too young to be an aunt. Have fun and most importantly, RELAX. I’ll need a full update in the morning. Oh! Don’t worry about your car. I’ll make sure it gets home safely.
Me: The car is the furthest thing from my mind right now!
Sierra: I know! But I got you thinking about something else didn’t I!? Love you, have fun. Stop texting me and make that man cum so hard he can’t function through practice tmw! ;)
Mateo’shandlandedinits usual spot while he drove. My thigh burned under his touch, like smoldering coals burning through the fabric between our skin. Each minute that ticked by inched his hand closer to where I wanted it to be. I forced myself to stay still. To not slide down in my seat to meet him, or grab his hand and hold it against me.
In the driveway, Mateo helped me from the car. He tried unsuccessfully to unlock the front door. Cursing under his breath as the keys slipped from his fingers. He picked them up, but before he could try again, I took them. Leaving my hand on his, I squeezed. I unlocked the door, pushing it open.
Before we could pass through the entrance, his lips crashed onto mine. He backed me up against the wall and kicked the door shut behind him.
I gripped his shoulders, fisted his shirt to pull him closer. I moaned as he moved, pinning us together, his hard length pushing against me. His mouth moved along my neck, leaving wet steaming kisses behind. He pressed his mouth back to mine, and I opened for his tongue to enter. He sucked and tugged on my bottom lip. His hands moved over my body, finding a home on my ass. His fingers dug in as he lifted me, and my legs wrapped around him. My hands went to his hair, twisting around his curls as he kissed me.
One hand on the wall, he braced himself, moving the other between our bodies toward my center, but then he froze. I unwrapped myself from him and stood, back pressed to the wall.
“I forgot,” he huffed out a jagged breath, his eyes closed. With both hands on the wall behind us, his head hung.
“Forgot what?”
I slid a hand under his chin and lifted.
“What did you forget?”
Still caging me in, his forehead rested on mine. “That you’ve never done this before. I forgot to make sure you were ready, that this is what you wanted.”
I laughed to myself and buried my face in the curve of his neck. “I thought you got me all riled up just to turn me down.”
He leaned back and cupped my face. “Jameson, I would never. I just had a plan to take it slow and make sure you were comfortable.”
Feeling a surge of confidence, I whispered “take me upstairs” into his ear, lightly licking the outer shell of it.
He looked at me with a wicked grin before throwing me over his shoulder and running upstairs.
His steady breathing as he sat me on the bed only made the ache between my legs stronger. He took off his shirt, throwing it aside in one fluid motion.
My fingers glided down his chest to his abs, taking in every inch of his rich, chiseled torso. I smiled as the familiar goosebumps came to life. I leaned forward, kissing the skin they’d pebbled. Mateo growled when I moved my hand lower, rubbing his length over his jeans, my eyes locked on his.
